Morgan and Nora standing confidently on a sunny cattle ranch with their puppy sitting between them, hands on hips, smiling, mountains and fence in background, hay under their feet, hero pose
Morgan and Nora stood tall on the ranch, looking out over the fields. Saddie sat between them, her tail thumping happily on the ground. The sun was shining, and everything seemed just right… But something felt a little different.
Inside the dim barn, afternoon light filters through slats onto stacks of hay. Morgan and Nora crouch behind a hay bale with Saddie, eyes wide, while a circle of fluffy rabbits calmly munch bright carrots on the dirt floor.
Saddie sniffed the ground. Her white fur sparkled in the sun. "This way!" called Morgan, following the puppy. Nora held Morgan's hand as they walked. The trail led to the barn. Inside, they heard munching sounds. "Shh," whispered Morgan. Saddie's ears perked up. They peeked around the corner. There sat the ranch rabbits! The bunnies were eating the carrots. "So that's who took them!" laughed Morgan. Nora patted a fuzzy bunny. "Bunny!" she said happily. The mystery was almost solved!
Sunny morning beside the rabbit pen; Morgan uses a colorful toy hammer on a wooden plank covering a small hole in the wire fence while Nora holds spare boards, and Saddie sits watching with a wagging tail.
"How did the bunnies get out?" asked Morgan. Saddie ran to the rabbit pen. She found a hole in the fence! "Look, Nora!" Morgan pointed. The hole was just big enough for bunnies. "We need to fix this," said Morgan. Nora found some wood nearby. Morgan got his toy tools. Together they covered the hole. Saddie watched and wagged her tail. "Good teamwork!" said Morgan. Nora smiled big. "Tea-wok!" she repeated. Now the bunnies couldn't escape again. The ranch was safe!
Wooden farmhouse porch at golden sunset; Morgan pumps a triumphant fist while Nora hugs Saddie who licks her cheek. A plate with apple slices and a small dog treat rests on the railing, warm light casting long shadows.
Morgan and Nora walked back to the house. Saddie trotted beside them, her speckled coat bouncing. "We solved the mystery!" cheered Morgan. They told Mom and Dad about the rabbits and the hole. "You three make a great team," said Dad proudly. Mom gave them apple slices. Saddie got a special treat too. "Best day ever!" said Morgan. Nora hugged Saddie tight. The puppy licked her face. On the Silva Ranch, every day was an adventure. And with friends like these, any mystery could be solved!
