In a sun-lit park meadow, Ares kneels in green grass, eyes wide and smiling, reaching toward a small shiny object glinting under the midday light. A slide and distant swings sit behind him in warm summer haze.
Ares played in the sunny park. He saw something shiny in the green grass. "What is that?" he asked eagerly. It looked like a cool toy. He ran over to see it.
At the same sunny playground bench, Ares stands, eyebrows raised, slipping a strange green watch onto his wrist while bright afternoon light reflects off its face. Short grass and a sandbox frame the scene.
He picked the object up. It was a strange green watch. Ares put it on his wrist. It fit him perfectly. Suddenly, the watch started to beep loudly.
Ares backs toward the jungle gym as a tall mean metal robot with glowing red eyes stomps onto the playground under clear daylight. The strange green watch on his wrist glows vivid emerald.
A mean metal robot appeared! The robot stomped on the playground. "Oh no!" cried Ares. He looked at the magic watch. It began to glow very bright.
A dazzling flash floods the sunlit play area beside the swings; Ares, now muscular and costumed, stands heroically with clenched fists and determined grin. The glowing strange green watch remains on his broad wrist.
Flash! A bright light shone. Ares turned into a strong hero. He had big muscles now. "I will save the park!" he said with a deep voice.
Ares plants his feet at the base of the bright red slide, scowling upward at a tall mean metal robot with glowing red eyes that looms beneath the clear afternoon sky. Children’s toys scatter across the sandy ground.
The robot roared loudly at him. It tried to grab the slide. Ares ran very fast. He stood in front of the metal giant to block it.
Mid-air above the playground mulch, Ares leaps high with determined eyes, his cape trailing, narrowly avoiding the sweeping fist of a tall mean metal robot with glowing red eyes. Harsh sunlight casts sharp shadows on the climbing frame.
"Leave the toys alone!" Ares shouted. The robot did not listen. It swung a heavy arm at Ares. Ares jumped high up into the air.
High over leafy park treetops in bright afternoon light, Ares hovers with outstretched hand, firing a thin red laser toward the foot of a tall mean metal robot with glowing red eyes on the playground below. Smoke curls from metal.
Ares flew above the trees. He shot a laser beam. Zap! The laser hit the robot's foot. The robot lost its balance and wobbled.
Beside the overturned slide, a tall mean metal robot with glowing red eyes lies on its side amid broken wood chips, sparks flying under late-day sunlight. Ares stands atop its chest, fist raised, mouth open in a victorious shout.
The robot fell over with a crash. "Take that!" Ares yelled bravely. The robot looked scared now. It did not want to fight anymore.
At the park entrance path, Ares pumps both fists in the air, grinning broadly as a tall mean metal robot with glowing red eyes retreats down the sidewalk under golden evening light. Nearby benches and flowerbeds frame the scene.
The robot got up quickly. It ran away from the park. Ares cheered, "Hooray!" He felt very proud. The playground was safe again.
On the quiet sandbox after sunset glow, a fading flash reveals Ares returned to his normal small frame, cheeks flushed yet smiling. The strange green watch on his wrist dims while moonlight softly brightens the deserted swings.
The watch beeped again. Flash! Ares was just a boy again. He felt tired but happy. He rubbed the cool green watch.
Under a lamppost near the park gate at night, Ares examines the still strange green watch, whispering in awe with a gentle smile. Cool white light pools around him and the silent slides behind.
"That was amazing," Ares whispered. He looked at his wrist. The green watch was quiet now. It waited for the next big adventure.
Early dawn light paints the quiet suburban street pink as Ares walks home, hands in pockets, wearing the strange green watch and a secretive grin. Row houses and blooming gardens line the sidewalk around him.
Ares walked home smiling. He was a secret superhero now. "I am ready," he thought. The world was safe with Ares watching over it.
