"Park day! Park day!" shouted Mercy with glee. Mason jumped up high. "Come on, let's go see!" Aubrielle wiggled in her stroller seat. "Wiggle wobble, wiggle wobble!" went her tiny feet. Mum packed the snacks while Dad grabbed the bag. Big sister Akapei helped carry the flag. "Ready, Aubrielle?" Akapei asked with a smile. The whole family walked down the sunny mile. Birds chirped above as they strolled along. Aubrielle clapped her hands to their morning song.

At the park, Mason raced to the swings so high. "Push me! Push me!" he called to the sky. Mercy sat beside him, pumping her legs. Aubrielle pointed and giggled, "Weee!" she begs. Dad lifted Aubrielle into the baby swing. Back and forth, back and forth—what a wonderful thing! "Higher, Daddy, higher!" Mercy laughed out loud. Mason swung so fast, he felt like a cloud. Aubrielle's brown curls bounced in the breeze. The whole family smiled, happy and at ease.

"Let's try the slide!" said Akapei, taking Aubrielle's hand. Together they climbed to the top of the land. "Hold on tight, little one," Akapei said with care. Down they zoomed through the warm sunny air! "Wheeee!" squealed Aubrielle, eyes open wide. Mason and Mercy cheered from the side. "Again! Again!" Aubrielle clapped with joy. Akapei laughed, "You're one brave baby, not shy or coy!" Up and down, down and up they'd slide. The best big sister right by her side.

The sun began setting, painting the sky gold. "Time to go home," Mum gently told. Aubrielle yawned a big sleepy yawn. Her park day adventure from dusk until dawn. Mason held one hand, Mercy the other so tight. Akapei pushed the stroller in the fading light. Dad carried the bag, Mum hummed a tune. They'd return to the park again very soon. At home, tucked in bed, Aubrielle dreamed away. Of swings and slides and her big park day!
