Morning sunlight streams through the nursery window as Mama kneels by the crib, slipping a bright purple outfit onto smiling Baby Somm. The toddler claps her tiny hands, toes wiggling atop a plush rug.
Baby Somm opened her eyes. The sun was shining bright. "Good morning!" said Mama. "Today we visit the vineyard!" Baby Somm clapped her tiny hands. She loved new adventures. Mama dressed her in a purple outfit. "Purple like grapes!" Mama laughed. Baby Somm giggled and wiggled her toes. Today would be special.
Under a clear morning sky at the vineyard gate, rows of green vines stretch into the distance while the Farmer waves warmly toward Baby Somm. She points excitedly at the leaves, sunlight flickering through the rustling foliage.
They arrived at the vineyard. Rows and rows of vines stretched everywhere. "Wow!" Baby Somm pointed at the green leaves. A friendly farmer waved hello. "Welcome, little one!" he said warmly. Baby Somm smiled her biggest smile. The leaves rustled in the breeze. Everything smelled fresh and sweet. She wanted to explore right away.
Between sunlit vineyard rows at midday, the Farmer holds a dangling bunch of glossy purple grapes just above Baby Somm’s outstretched fingers. Her wide eyes gleam with wonder amid the leafy canopy.
The farmer showed them purple grapes. They hung in bunches on the vine. Baby Somm reached up high. "Gape! Gape!" she tried to say grape. The farmer picked a bunch for her. The grapes were round and shiny. Baby Somm touched them gently. They felt smooth and cool. Her eyes grew wide with wonder.
In the dappled afternoon shade of a vine row, Mama gently places a single purple grape into Baby Somm’s tiny palm. The toddler bites, juice bursting as she bounces with pure joy, cheeks sticky and shining.
Mama gave Baby Somm a grape. It was small and perfect. Baby Somm put it in her mouth. Pop! The juice was sweet and yummy. "Mmm!" Baby Somm squealed with delight. She bounced up and down. "More gape!" she asked excitedly. Mama laughed and gave her another. Baby Somm's face showed pure joy.
Beside a sunlit trellis, the Farmer presents a cluster of pale green grapes while Baby Somm, head tilted curiously, reaches to touch the unfamiliar fruit. Purple grapes still hang nearby, highlighting the color difference under bright midday light.
"Look here!" said the farmer kindly. He showed them green grapes next. Baby Somm tilted her head curiously. These grapes were a different color. She touched the green bunch carefully. "Different gape!" Baby Somm noticed happily. The farmer nodded and smiled. "Very smart baby!" he praised her. Baby Somm beamed with pride.
Seated on a wooden vineyard bench in late afternoon, Mama holds up one, then two, then three grapes before Baby Somm. The toddler claps enthusiastically, sunlight illuminating the numbered fruit and their delighted faces.
"Let's count grapes!" said Mama playfully. She held up one grape. "One!" Baby Somm watched closely and listened. Mama held up two grapes. "Two!" Baby Somm clapped her hands together. Then three grapes appeared before her. "Three!" Mama cheered for her daughter. Baby Somm was learning so much. Numbers were fun with grapes.
Amid vine rows at golden-hour dusk, Mama kneels beside Baby Somm, holding a purple grape bunch in one hand and a green bunch in the other. Baby Somm points from color to color beneath warm orange light.
Purple grapes, green grapes, so pretty! Baby Somm looked at both bunches. "Purple!" Mama pointed at one bunch. Baby Somm repeated "Puh-puh!" trying her best. "Green!" Mama pointed at the other. "Gee!" Baby Somm said with effort. She was learning her colors today. The grapes were perfect teachers indeed.
On the soft earth between vines, Baby Somm crouches beside a toddler-sized wicker basket, carefully placing alternating purple and green grapes inside. The Farmer watches proudly from behind, late-afternoon sun casting long shadows across the rows.
The farmer gave Baby Somm a basket. It was small, just her size. "Fill it up!" he encouraged kindly. Baby Somm picked grapes carefully, one by one. She placed them in the basket. Purple grape, green grape, purple grape again. Soon the basket was getting full. Baby Somm felt so proud and accomplished.
In a quiet corner of the vineyard meadow, Baby Somm kneels on grass, arm extended with a single grape toward a small brown bird. The bird hops forward and pecks the fruit as sunlight sparkles on dew-dotted leaves.
Baby Somm saw a bird nearby. It chirped a cheerful little song. Baby Somm held out a grape. "Birdie gape!" she offered so sweetly. The bird hopped closer to her. It ate the grape right away. "Tweet tweet!" the bird sang happily. Baby Somm giggled at her new friend. Sharing made her heart feel warm.
At a rustic wooden picnic table beneath leafy trellises, Mama pours deep-purple grape juice into a tiny cup and steadies it for Baby Somm. The toddler sips carefully, eyes shining as evening light filters through the vines.
"Thirsty?" asked Mama with a smile. She poured grape juice into a cup. It was purple and looked delicious. Baby Somm drank it carefully with help. "Gape juice!" she exclaimed with recognition. It tasted just like the grapes. Sweet and cool and so refreshing. Baby Somm drank every single drop happily.
Near the vineyard parking lot at sunset, Mama carries a sleepy Baby Somm toward the car while the Farmer stands by the gate, waving goodbye. Baby Somm hugs her grape-filled basket against her chest, eyelids drooping in amber light.
Baby Somm yawned a big yawn. The adventure had made her sleepy. The farmer waved goodbye to them. "Come back soon!" he called out warmly. Mama carried Baby Somm to the car. Baby Somm hugged her grape basket tight. Her eyes started to close slowly. What a wonderful day it was.
In the softly lit nursery at night, Baby Somm lies tucked under a grape-patterned blanket while Mama leans over, kissing her forehead. Moonlight filters through the window, casting gentle shapes of imagined purple and green grapes on the wall.
Back home, Baby Somm lay down. Mama tucked her in so snugly. "Did you like the grapes?" asked Mama. Baby Somm nodded and smiled sleepily wide. "Gape venture!" she whispered very softly. Mama kissed her forehead with love. Baby Somm closed her eyes completely now. She dreamed of purple and green grapes.
