Sunbeams tickled Bella’s window. "Dance day!" she cheered, twirling. Mama Rabbit washed strawberries carefully. "They’ll love these," Mama smiled, filling the basket. Bella smoothed her pink tutu and hugged her dance bag.

Hand in hand, they stepped outside. "I can’t wait!" Bella beamed. Down the street shimmered Debbie’s Dance Studio. The basket swung gently beside her. "Have fun and be brave," Mama encouraged.

On the steps, paws pattered fast. Richard the raccoon zoomed past. He bumped Bella—berries burst everywhere! Richard giggled nervously and kept running. Bella sat up, whiskers trembling, and tears sparkled.

Sammie the squirrel skidded over. "Are you okay?" he asked gently. "I think so," Bella sniffled. Together they gathered berries into the basket. "We’ll fix this," Sammie said. "You’re not alone."

Sammie walked Bella inside. "Friends, meet Bella," he announced. Tommie the turtle waved his bandanna. Callie’s crown sparkled; Parker the busy mutt wagged; Frankie the fox zipped in place. "We’re glad you’re here!"

Clip-clop! Miss Debbie pranced in, glittering. Her pink tutu fluttered, crown shining. "Welcome, dancers!" she chimed. "We dance with hearts and kindness." Bella’s ears lifted, and her smile returned.

Sammie found Richard outside. "Bella fell when you bumped her." Richard’s mask drooped. "Oh no—I'm sorry." He hurried back, tail low. "Bella, I’m sorry for knocking you down," Richard said.

Miss Debbie nodded kindly. "Let’s wash those berries together." Richard rinsed and swirled them carefully. Callie, Tommie, Parker, and Frankie brought towels. "All clean!" Bella said, relieved. The basket looked beautiful again.

Music floated like sunshine. "Warm up," Miss Debbie chimed. Everyone stretched, then tried gentle pliés. Bella twirled; friends clapped. "You’ve got it!" Parker barked happily, and Frankie snapped finger-clicks.

Bella forgot a step and wobbled. "Freeze like statues!" Miss Debbie coached. They practiced slowly—one, two, three. Tommie counted; Callie twinkled encouragement. Bella breathed, tried again, and landed a graceful spin.

Class ended with bows and giggles. Everyone sat in a circle. "Thank you for sharing," Miss Debbie said. "And thanks for apologizing," Sammie added. Richard passed berries; sweetness sprinkled the room.

Bella hugged her new friends. "Today began berry bad," she laughed, "but ended berry good." Mama beamed at the door. "See you next class!" everyone cheered. Kind hearts turned tumbles into joy.
