Emma and Jack loved to play with Legos. It was a rainy day, and they were full of ideas. They gathered their colorful bricks and sat on the living room floor. Their excitement filled the room as they planned their project.

Today, they decided to build a super-tall Lego tower. Jack said, "Let’s make it the tallest tower ever!" Emma clapped her hands in delight at the idea. They began stacking the bricks carefully one on top of the other.

Suddenly, the tower wobbled and started to lean. The bricks clattered to the floor with a loud crash. Emma gasped, and Jack frowned with worry. They both wondered why their tower was falling.

Just then, Bot, the friendly childlike robot, appeared with a smile. Bot said, "I have an idea to help!" Jack and Emma looked at Bot with surprise and wonder. They felt hopeful with Bot here to offer a solution.

Bot explained about the Engineering Design Process. "Engineers follow steps to solve problems," said Bot kindly. Emma and Jack listened carefully to every word. They learned that first, you need to ask what went wrong.

The friends looked at their broken tower with curious eyes. Jack thought, "Maybe it fell because the base was too small." Emma agreed and nodded slowly. They understood that a strong foundation was needed for a tall tower.

Emma suggested, "What if we make the base wider?" Jack added, "We can use more blocks at the bottom for strength." Bot cheered, saying, "That is a brilliant idea!" Their faces lit up with excitement as they planned the new design.

The trio organized a new plan and gathered more pieces. They carefully separated the base blocks from the other pieces. Emma and Jack worked together, and Bot helped them check the list. They were ready to start again with their improved idea.

Jack started by laying down a wide and strong base. Emma added extra support on the sides of the base. Bot guided them through each step with simple instructions. Their new tower began to rise steadily, taller than before.

Bot reminded them, "Engineers must test their designs." They gently shook the tower to see if it was strong enough. The tower wobbled a little bit but did not fall. Their hard work was proving to be a success.

Jack thought of adding even more support to the sides. Emma brightened up, saying, "We can build supports in another direction too!" Bot smiled and congratulated them for their creative thought. They knew that good engineers always look for ways to make things better.

At the end of the day, the tower stood tall and strong. Emma, Jack, and Bot admired their hard work and teamwork. They learned that trying again and thinking of new ideas can fix problems. Everyone cheered, happy with their amazing creation and the fun day they had.
