Inside a cozy forest bedroom bathed in soft morning light, Bumble sits on his fluffy tail beside a wooden bed, his shiny spots and little antlers visible, while Mama Deer stands nearby smiling encouragingly.
Today was a special day! Bumble the baby deer woke up early. His spots were shiny and his little antlers stood tall. "Time for school!" said Mama Deer. Bumble tried to stand but his legs went wobbly. THUMP! He tumbled onto his fluffy tail. "Oops!" giggled Bumble. Mama smiled. "You'll get there, my wobbly one." Bumble got up and shook himself. School was waiting!
On the sunny woodland path, Bumble lies tangled in a leafy bush as three butterflies circle his antlers; warm morning light filters through trees, casting playful shadows.
Bumble stepped outside. The sun was bright and warm. He took one step, then two, then— WOBBLE! His legs crossed and he rolled into a bush. "I'm okay!" he called. Three butterflies flew around his antlers. Bumble stood up carefully. He could see the path to school ahead. "Here I go!" he said bravely. His legs felt like jelly, but he kept walking.
In a colorful meadow beneath bright midday sun, Bumble struggles with five sunflowers stuck on his antlers, petals raining around him while a curious bee hovers nearby over red, yellow, and blue blossoms.
Bumble walked through a meadow full of flowers. Red ones, yellow ones, and blue ones too! He bent down to smell a daisy. POKE! His antlers got stuck in five sunflowers. "Oh no!" said Bumble. He wiggled left, then right. The flowers came with him! A bee buzzed by and laughed. Finally, POP! Bumble was free. Petals fell like rain around him.
At an outdoor vegetable garden glowing under afternoon light, Bumble lies amid overturned orange carrots, seven carrots dangling from his antlers, as a brown bunny hops close, grinning at his accidental 'hat'.
Next, Bumble wobbled past a vegetable garden. Orange carrots poked up from the ground. "Yummy!" said Bumble, leaning closer. TRIP! His hoof caught a root. Down he went— right into the carrots! Now he had seven carrots hanging from his antlers. "These are heavy!" Bumble giggled. A bunny hopped over. "Nice hat!" she said. Bumble wiggled free and kept going.
Beside a fence on the breezy town edge, Bumble floats a hoof above crunchy leaves, lifted by four colorful balloons stuck to his antlers; late-afternoon sun lights the drifting balloons while wind tousles his fur.
At the edge of town, Bumble saw colorful balloons tied to a fence. Red, green, purple, and gold! The wind blew them toward him. BONK! One balloon stuck to his antler. Then another! Soon Bumble had four balloons floating above his head. "Wheee!" he cried as his hooves lifted off the ground. He floated up, up, up! Then— POP! Down came Bumble, landing softly in leaves.
In a sparkling pond under golden sunset light, Bumble splashes wildly among six quacking ducks, water droplets flying as a green frog perches calmly on his head near a mossy log.
Bumble reached a pretty pond. Ducks swam in circles, quacking hello. "Almost there!" Bumble said proudly. He tried to jump over a log. SPLASH! Instead, he tumbled right into the water! Six ducks flapped and splashed around him. Bumble paddled with his wobbly legs. A frog jumped onto his head. "Thanks for the ride!" ribbited the frog. Bumble climbed out, dripping wet.
On the grassy hill before the red school, Bumble shakes himself hard, sending glittering water droplets through bright midday sunlight while his fur sticks up comically; a bluebird watches from a nearby dandelion patch.
Bumble stood on the grass and shook himself hard. Water flew everywhere! Drops sparkled in the sunshine like tiny jewels. "That was fun!" Bumble laughed. His fur was fluffy again, but now it stuck up funny. He looked silly! A bluebird landed nearby. "You're almost at school," she chirped. Bumble smiled big. He could see the red school building now. Time to wobble faster!
Outside the school gate under soft morning light, muddy Bumble stands nervously while Sandy the squirrel with a fluffy tail waves cheerfully from the cobblestone path, colorful backpacks and other animal students forming a gentle backdrop.
Bumble reached the big school gate. Other animals were arriving too— bunnies, squirrels, and foxes. Everyone looked so neat! Bumble looked down at himself. He was muddy and messy. "What if they laugh?" he worried. His legs felt extra wobbly now. A kind squirrel waved. "Hi! I'm Sandy!" Bumble waved back with his hoof. "I'm Bumble." Maybe school wouldn't be so scary after all.
Inside the bright classroom lit by midday sun, Bumble stoops with eight paper stars tangled around his antlers after bonking a hanging mobile; Mrs. Owl flutters beside him, carefully untwisting the threads above low circular chairs.
Bumble wobbled through the door into a bright classroom. Colorful pictures covered the walls. Little chairs sat in a circle. But— oh no! Bumble's antlers were too tall! BONK! They hit a hanging mobile. Eight paper stars tangled around them. "Oops!" said Bumble. The teacher, Mrs. Owl, hooted gently. "Welcome, Bumble! Let me help." She carefully freed the stars. Bumble's face turned pink.
Still in the classroom’s warm afternoon glow, Bumble trips near a cushy pillow, his legs crossing mid-fall, while a small raccoon student and a tiny mouse student giggle supportively beside colorful shelves of art supplies.
Mrs. Owl showed Bumble to a special big cushion. "This is perfect for you!" she said. Bumble tried to walk there carefully. Step, step, wobble— THUMP! He tripped over his own hooves again. The whole class giggled, but not meanly. "I fall too!" said a little raccoon. "Me three!" squeaked a mouse. Bumble smiled. He wasn't the only wobbly one! He settled onto his cushion happily.
Under soft lantern light at story corner, Mrs. Owl holds an open picture book about a clumsy knight, while Bumble listens wide-eyed on his cushion and Sandy the squirrel with a fluffy tail whispers encouragement beside him.
Mrs. Owl began reading a story about a clumsy knight. Bumble listened closely. The knight kept tripping and falling, just like him! But the knight never gave up. He saved the day! "See?" whispered Sandy the squirrel. "Being wobbly is okay!" Bumble's heart felt warm. When the story ended, Mrs. Owl looked right at him. "We're all special in different ways," she said. Everyone nodded. Bumble belonged here.
Outside on the sunny playground lawn, Bumble lies laughing in the grass with several new animal friends spread around him, everyone playfully copying his wobble-fall, colorful balls and hoops scattered under the clear blue sky.
At playtime, Bumble wobbled outside with his new friends. They played tag and rolled in the grass. When Bumble fell down, everyone fell down too— on purpose! They all laughed together. "Tomorrow will you wobble to school with me?" Bumble asked. "Yes!" they all cheered. Bumble couldn't wait. School was fun! Even wobbly deer could do great things. And that made Bumble the happiest little deer in the whole world.
