In Ms. Green's classroom, Abby, Julio, Lily, and Raj sat, fidgeting in their seats. They could hardly focus on math problems because their minds were already on the playground. Abby whispered, 'Only ten more minutes until recess!' Julio grinned, 'I can't wait to try out my new obstacle course idea!' Lily reminded them, 'Remember, we have to be fair and take turns.'

The Countdown Begins

Finally, the bell rang, and the four friends dashed out the door. Julio led the way, explaining his new obstacle course with excitement. 'First, we jump over the benches, then crawl under the slide, and finish with a cartwheel!' he announced. Abby was already lining up, ready to race through the course. Raj quietly added, 'I think we should add a secret handshake at the end.'

Together, they’ve created The Recess Dash, a wild playground game with obstacle courses, silly stunts, and secret handshakes. Julan, the jokester with a big heart and a knack for getting into scrapes (he’s dyslexic, which sometimes makes following rules…interesting!), loves to come up with new challenges. Abby, fiercely competitive and always ready to win, races through every game with a grin. Raj, the quiet and creative one, likes thinking up new course ideas, even if he doesn’t always speak up. And Lily, the peacemaker, is the one who makes sure everyone plays fair and has fun.
