Cathy stretched and purred as the sun warmed her fur. Pippa rolled over, giggling, and said, “Let’s play outside!” Cathy agreed. They raced out to the garden, laughing all the way. Pippa tried to catch her own tail, making Cathy laugh. "You’re so silly, Pippa!" Cathy meowed.

Pippa dug up some mud and said, “Look, Cathy! Mud pie!” Cathy wrinkled her nose but smiled. "Let’s add flowers!" she suggested. Together, they decorated the pie with daisies and leaves. Pippa squealed, “It’s beautiful!” Cathy purred, “It’s our friendship pie.”

Cathy whispered, “Let’s play hide and seek!” Pippa closed her eyes and counted. Cathy hid behind a big bush, her tail peeking out. Pippa giggled, “Found you, Cathy!” Cathy leaped out, tagging Pippa softly. They both rolled in the grass, laughing together.

As the sun set, Pippa said, “I had so much fun!” Cathy nodded and nuzzled her friend. “Me too, Pippa. Best friends forever!” Pippa hugged Cathy tightly. They watched the stars appear, feeling happy and safe. "Goodnight, Cathy," whispered Pippa.
