God made a lamb, wooly and new,\nIt bounced and skipped, as young lambs do.\nOver green hills, it joyfully ran,\nBleating softly, as only lambs can.

A pink piglet danced in the hay,\nGod made it squeal and twirl in play.\nIt snorted, rolled in muddy bliss,\nGiggling for a muddy kiss!

God made a fawn with spots of white,\nIt leaped through shadows, swift and light.\nHiding quietly, playing peek-a-boo,\nIts bright eyes sparkled with morning dew.

A lion cub with fluffy mane,\nGod made it tiny, full of gain!\nIt tried to roar, a squeaky sound,\nStartled by its voice, it spun around.

God made an owlet wide-eyed and neat,\nIt winked at night, with silent feet.\nIt hooted softly on a moon-bright tree,\nWishing sweet dreams for you and me.

God made a baby, soft and new,\nWith giggles, smiles, and fingers, too.\nCute as any animal, precious and sweet,\nGod’s greatest creation, none could beat!
