Little Druv held his mama's hand as they walked through the big red gate. "Look, Druv! This is Old MacDonald's farm!" she said. Druv's dark eyes sparkled with excitement. He saw a big red barn, green fields, and a blue sky. "Animals!" Druv clapped his tiny hands. The morning sun felt warm on his face. Today would be the best day ever!

"Moo! Moo!" A brown and white cow walked up to the fence. "Cow says moo," Mama explained. Druv giggled and tried to copy. "Moo!" he said in his sweet baby voice. The cow swished her tail happily. Druv reached through the fence to pet her soft nose. The cow was so gentle and kind. "Nice cow," Druv whispered softly.

Near the barn, Druv heard funny sounds. "Oink! Oink!" Three pink pigs rolled in mud puddles. Druv laughed and laughed at their silly game. "Pigs like to play in mud," Mama said. One little pig came closer, covered head to toe in brown mud. "Oink!" said the pig. "Oink!" Druv repeated, bouncing with joy.

In the green meadow, white fluffy sheep grazed on grass. "Baa! Baa!" they called to Druv. He toddled closer on his little legs. The sheep had soft, curly wool like clouds. "Can touch?" Druv asked his mama. She nodded yes. Druv gently patted a sheep. It felt like his soft blanket at home! "Baa!" said the sheep happily.

Inside the cool stable, two horses munched hay. One was brown, one was black with a white star on its forehead. "Neigh!" said the brown horse. Druv's eyes grew wide. The horses were so big and tall! "Nice horsie," Druv said softly. The black horse bent down low so Druv could pat its soft nose. "Neigh!" Druv tried to copy the sound.

"Cluck, cluck, cluck!" In the chicken coop, hens pecked at seeds on the ground. A red rooster strutted proudly. "Cock-a-doodle-doo!" he crowed loudly. Druv jumped at the big sound, then giggled. One brown hen laid an egg right there! "Egg!" Druv pointed excitedly. Mama smiled. "Yes, chickens give us eggs!" The rooster crowed again, making Druv laugh.

By the sparkly pond, yellow ducks swam in circles. "Quack! Quack! Quack!" they said together. Druv sat on the grass to watch. The ducks dipped their heads underwater, then popped back up. "Funny ducks!" Druv clapped. One duck waddled right up to him. "Quack!" it said. "Quack!" Druv answered back. They were talking to each other!

Two goats climbed on rocks and logs. They were very good at jumping! "Maa! Maa!" bleated the goats. One goat had a white beard. The other had brown spots. Druv watched them hop from rock to rock. "Jump!" he said, trying to jump too. The spotted goat came over and nuzzled Druv's hand gently. Druv petted its soft fur.

A orange and white cat stretched in the sunshine near the barn door. "Meow," said the cat softly. Druv loved cats! He walked carefully toward it. "Kitty!" he whispered. The cat purred and rubbed against Druv's legs. Druv gently stroked its soft fur. The cat's purr grew louder and louder. "Happy kitty," said Druv with a big smile.

Behind the barn, Druv discovered a hutch. Inside were fluffy rabbits with long ears! One was white, two were gray, and one was spotted. The rabbits wiggled their pink noses. "Bunnies!" Druv squealed with delight. A white rabbit hopped close. Its fur was the softest thing Druv ever touched. The rabbit's nose twitched and tickled Druv's hand. He giggled and giggled.

Druv sat on a hay bale with Mama. Together they sang about all the animals they met. "Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O!" Druv clapped along. They sang about cows, pigs, sheep, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, the cat, and rabbits. Each animal made its special sound. Druv tried to make every sound. "Moo! Oink! Baa!" he sang happily.

The sun began to set, painting the sky orange and pink. "Time to go home," Mama said. Druv waved to all his new farm friends. "Bye-bye cow! Bye-bye piggy! Bye-bye all animals!" he called. The animals seemed to wave back in their own ways. Druv yawned, tired from his big adventure. "Come back soon?" he asked. "Yes, we'll come back," Mama promised.
