Eli and Jax were playing in the garden with their puppy Patch. Suddenly, they saw something hopping behind the bushes. It was the Easter Bunny looking very worried. 'I need your help,' said the Easter Bunny with a sigh.

The Easter Bunny explained that the golden egg was missing. 'Without it, Easter can't happen tomorrow,' he said sadly. Eli hugged his little brother Jax who looked scared. 'We'll help you find it!' Eli promised bravely.

The Easter Bunny gave them each a small basket. Patch wagged his tail excitedly, ready to help too. 'The golden egg might be somewhere on the farm,' said the bunny. Eli held Jax's hand as they started their adventure.

First, they visited the chicken coop to look for the golden egg. The friendly hen clucked and shook her head. 'No golden egg here, but I'll help you search,' she said. Jax giggled as the hen followed them.

Next, they checked the duck pond where ducks were swimming. 'Have you seen a golden egg?' Eli asked politely. The mother duck quacked and joined their growing search party. Patch barked happily at his new feathered friends.

The barn was big and filled with sweet-smelling hay. Jax pointed to something shiny in the corner. But it was just a yellow bucket, not the golden egg. The cow mooed and decided to help them look too.

Patch suddenly barked and ran toward the old apple tree. Everyone followed as fast as they could. Under the tree was a hole where a squirrel lived. The squirrel peeked out but hadn't seen any golden egg.

In the vegetable garden, they searched between the carrots and lettuce. Jax almost fell into a muddy puddle. Eli caught him just in time. The Easter Bunny looked more worried as the day went on.

Eli had a clever idea as the sun began to set. 'Maybe the egg rolled down the hill,' he suggested. Jax clapped his little hands excitedly. The Easter Bunny looked hopeful again.

They all walked down the hill to the small stream. Patch sniffed around the water's edge and barked loudly. There, caught between two rocks, was something shining in the water. It was the golden egg!

The Easter Bunny carefully picked up the golden egg. 'You saved Easter!' he cheered happily. Eli and Jax jumped up and down with joy. All the animal friends celebrated together.

The next morning, Eli and Jax found special Easter baskets outside their door. Inside were chocolate eggs and two golden egg badges. The Easter Bunny had made them his official helpers forever.
