Emma looked around her room with a sigh, toys were scattered both low and high. Her teddy sat upon a shoe, her blocks were mixed with crayons too. "I'll clean tomorrow," Emma said with a yawn, but then she saw something odd at dawn. Behind her toy box, a shimmer of light, a doorway appeared in the fading night. "What could this be?" she whispered with care, and stepped up close to see what was there.

Emma pushed the toy box away from the wall, the doorway grew bigger, shimmering and tall. She took a deep breath and stepped right through, into a world that was sparkly and new. The air smelled like cinnamon, sweet and bright, everything glowed with a magical light. "Welcome!" called a voice, soft and small, Emma turned to see who gave the call.

A fluffy gray ball bounced up to her feet, with button-bright eyes and a smile so sweet. "I'm Dusty the Dust Bunny, how do you do? The Kingdom of Lost Toys needs help from you!" Emma giggled and knelt down low, "A talking dust bunny? This I must know!" Dusty twirled around with glee, "Come along now, follow me!"

Dusty led Emma down a winding path, past toys that had lost their laugh. "Our kingdom is losing its magical glow, because toys don't have places to go," explained Dusty with a worried face. "Everything here needs a proper place. When children's rooms get messy and wild, the magic fades away, mild and mild. Will you help us shine once more?" asked Dusty at a golden door.

Behind the door, a broom stood tall, glowing golden against the wall. "This is the Golden Broom," Dusty said with pride, "it helps lost toys find homes inside. With every sweep and every care, you'll put things back and make things fair." Emma grasped the handle tight, the broom felt warm and just right. "I'll help!" she said with a determined smile.

Their first stop was a mountain high, made of socks reaching toward the sky. Red ones, blue ones, striped and dotted, some were clean and some were spotted. "These socks are lonely," Dusty explained, "each one has a match unchained." Emma climbed up with her broom so bright, and started pairing left with right. "There!" she cheered, "they match at last!"

As Emma paired each sock with care, magic sparkles filled the air. The socks began to dance and spin, twirling with their newfound twin. They sang a song of joy and cheer, "Thank you, Emma, for bringing us near! Together we're warm and cozy and bright, no more lonely days or night!" The mountain shrank down to a neat little pile.

Next they traveled to a river wide, where colorful blocks tumbled side by side. They crashed and bumped without a plan, flowing wild without a hand. "They need to be sorted by color and size," said Dusty, looking very wise. Emma used her broom to guide each one, sorting red and blue was actually fun. The blocks lined up in rainbow rows.

The sorted blocks began to stack, building towers without looking back. They formed a bridge across the stream, glowing with a magical gleam. "Hooray!" the blocks all shouted loud, "We're organized and we are proud! Together we can build up high, reaching almost to the sky!" Emma clapped with pure delight, everything was turning out right.

By a willow tree, Emma heard a cry, she found a teddy with tears in his eye. "I'm lonely here, I've lost my way, no one's hugged me in many a day," he sobbed and sniffled, looking down. Emma's heart hurt at his frown. She scooped him up in a gentle embrace, and wiped the tears from his fuzzy face.

"Every teddy needs a cozy spot, where they are loved and not forgot," said Emma, holding Teddy near. "On a bed or shelf, not here." She swept her Golden Broom around, and a special place was found. A soft cushion appeared so bright, "This is perfect!" Teddy said with delight. He settled in with a happy sigh.

They walked until they found a shelf, standing sadly by itself. "I love to hold things neat and straight, but I've been empty, left to wait," the shelf said with a creaky voice. "Let's fill you up!" was Emma's choice. She gathered books and toys with care, placing each one here and there. The shelf stood proud and strong.

"Oh my!" the shelf exclaimed with glee, "I'm finally useful, can't you see? Each book has a spot so neat, each toy has a special seat. I feel important, I feel grand, the tidiest shelf in all the land!" Emma smiled at the shelf's delight, "You're holding everything just right. Organization makes us strong," she sang along.

Dusty bounced to a scattered scene, puzzle pieces everywhere between. Some hid under leaves and trees, others floated on the breeze. "These pieces miss their puzzle home, they feel so lost and so alone," explained Dusty with concern. Emma knew what she must learn. She swept them into a careful group.

Emma sorted edges from the middle parts, connecting pieces like works of art. As each piece found its proper place, a beautiful picture filled the space. A rainbow over mountains tall, appeared as she placed the final haul. "We're complete!" the puzzle sang with pride, "With every piece right by our side. Together we make something grand!"

Suddenly, the kingdom started to glow, brighter than fresh fallen snow. Stars appeared above so high, twinkling in the kingdom sky. "You did it!" Dusty jumped up and down, "You've saved our magical town! Everything has found its place, look at the smile on every face!" The toys all cheered and danced around.

"Thank you, Emma," Dusty said, "but now it's time for bed. Take the lessons that you've learned, the magic that you've earned." Emma hugged her fluffy friend, "I'll remember until the end. Every toy needs a special spot, this is something I won't forgot." She stepped through the doorway bright, back to her room in the night.

Emma woke up with the morning sun, ready to get her tidying done. She put her toys in their proper places, with happy smiles on their faces. Her blocks in bins, her books on shelves, her clothes all folded by themselves. "A tidy room is a happy home, the perfect place for me to roam. Tonight I'll have new dreams to see, in my room that's clean and free!"
