Leo woke up and stretched. He looked at his bedroom window. "Mama, the window is a square!" he shouted. Mama smiled from the doorway. "You're right, Leo! Can you find more shapes?" Leo jumped out of bed excitedly. His clock was round like a circle. His door was a tall rectangle. "Shapes are everywhere!" Leo giggled. This was going to be a fun day of discovery.

Leo ran to the kitchen. "Mama, look! The table is a rectangle!" he said. Mama was making breakfast. She held up a plate. "What shape is this?" she asked. "A circle!" Leo cheered. The toast was a square. Mama cut it into two triangles. "Now it's two triangles!" Leo laughed. He munched his triangle toast happily. Learning shapes made him hungry for more.

Outside, Leo explored the garden. The stepping stones were circles in the grass. "Mama, come see!" he called. The garden gate was made of rectangles. Leo spotted flowers with star-shaped petals. A butterfly landed nearby with oval wings. "The sun is a big circle in the sky!" Leo pointed up. Mama nodded proudly. The garden was full of wonderful shapes waiting to be found.

At the playground, Leo was amazed. The swings hung from triangles at the top. The slide was a long rectangle. "The merry-go-round is a giant circle!" Leo shouted to his friends. The sandbox was a big square. Leo drew shapes in the sand with a stick. He made circles, squares, and triangles. Other children joined him. Everyone started finding shapes together on the playground.

Leo and Mama walked through the park. "Look at the pond! It's a big oval," Leo observed. The park benches were long rectangles. A kite flew overhead shaped like a diamond. Leo saw a heart-shaped leaf on the ground. "Can I keep it, Mama?" he asked. She put it in her pocket. The trees had round trunks like circles. Nature was full of amazing shapes.

Walking down the street, Leo noticed even more shapes. Stop signs were red octagons with eight sides. Street lights were circles. "The mailbox is a rectangle!" Leo pointed. Buildings had square windows in rows. A pizza shop sign showed a triangle slice. The wheels on cars were perfect circles. Even the crosswalk made rectangles. Leo's eyes sparkled with each new discovery he made.

At preschool, Leo's teacher Ms. Rivera smiled. "Leo, will you help teach shapes today?" Leo nodded excitedly. He showed the class the round clock on the wall. The books were rectangles stacked on shelves. The cubby holes were squares. Star stickers decorated the behavior chart. "I found shapes everywhere this week!" Leo told his classmates. Everyone clapped. Learning was so much fun.

Saturday, Leo went to the market with Mama. Watermelons were big circles when cut. Cheese wedges made triangles. The shopping bags were rectangles. "Oranges are circles too!" Leo said, holding one up. The market had square tiles on the floor. A baker showed Leo heart-shaped cookies. Leo counted all the shapes he could see. His basket was full of shape discoveries.

At home, Leo got out his art supplies. He drew a house using a square and a triangle roof. He added rectangle windows and a circle sun. "Mama, shapes make pictures!" he realized. He cut out colorful shapes from paper. Leo made a robot from rectangles and squares. He added circle buttons and triangle feet. Creating with shapes was magical and fun.

As bedtime came, Leo noticed more shapes. His pillow was a rectangle. The stars on his pajamas twinkled. His nightlight glowed in an oval shape. "Even my blanket has square patches," Leo told Mama. She tucked him in and pointed to the moon outside. "What shape is the moon tonight?" she asked. "A circle!" Leo yawned. His cozy bed was a rectangle too.

Leo dreamed of a magical shape land. Circle bubbles floated by. Triangle mountains touched the sky. A rectangle bridge crossed a square river. Heart-shaped clouds drifted above. Star-shaped birds sang sweet songs. Leo rode an oval balloon high up. Everything was made of colorful shapes. In his dream, Leo danced through this wonderful world. Shapes made everything beautiful and exciting beyond imagination.

Leo woke up smiling brightly. He was now a shape detective! Every day brought new shapes to discover. At breakfast, in the park, everywhere he went, Leo found them. He taught his little cousin about circles and squares. "Shapes help build our world," Leo explained proudly. Mama hugged him tight. Leo looked around his room one more time. His adventure was just beginning. The world was full of shapes.
