In the brightly lit computer lab, Fiqah and Misha sit side by side at a white desk; Misha points at the glowing monitor while Fiqah watches wide-eyed. Rows of silent computers stretch behind them under fluorescent ceiling lights.
Fiqah walked into the bright computer lab. She saw another girl with long black hair sitting at a desk. "Hi! I'm Fiqah," she said with a smile. The girl looked up. "I'm Misha! Is this your first time here?" Fiqah nodded excitedly. "Yes! I want to learn about computers." Misha grinned. "Me too! Want to sit together?" The girls sat side by side. They looked at the screen in front of them. "That's called a monitor," Misha said, pointing. Fiqah's eyes sparkled with curiosity.
Under bright lab lights, Misha gently slides the computer mouse across the desk, and the arrow dances on the monitor while Fiqah leans forward, giggling. The keyboard rests beside them and the grey system unit sits beneath the workstation.
Misha picked up a small object. "This is a mouse. You use it to click on things." She moved it around and the arrow on the screen moved too. Fiqah giggled. "It doesn't look like a real mouse!" Next, Fiqah touched the flat part with letters. "What's this called?" she asked. "That's a keyboard," Misha explained. "You type with it." Fiqah pressed a key and a letter appeared on the monitor. "Wow!" Then Misha pointed under the desk. "That big box is the system unit. It's like the computer's brain!"
In the bright computer lab, Teacher stands before Fiqah and Misha with a gentle smile, one hand raised while explaining safety rules; the girls sit upright, watching intently. A colorful Lab Rules poster glows under steady fluorescent light.
A friendly teacher entered the lab. "Hello, girls! I'm so glad you're learning together." She smiled warmly. "Before we continue, let's talk about computer lab rules." Fiqah and Misha listened carefully. "Always wash your hands before touching computers," the teacher said. "Keep food and drinks away from the equipment." Misha raised her hand. "Why is that important?" she asked. "Liquids can damage the computers," the teacher explained. "Also, walk slowly in the lab so you don't bump into anything." Fiqah nodded. "We'll be very careful!"
Afternoon light from tall windows mixes with fluorescent glow as Fiqah and Misha laugh beside a workstation, their hands mid-air in a joyful high-five. The monitor displays freshly typed letters while mouse and keyboard rest together on the desk.
After learning the rules, Fiqah and Misha practiced using the computer together. They took turns clicking the mouse and typing on the keyboard. "This is so much fun!" Fiqah said happily. Misha agreed. "I'm glad we met today. You're really nice." Fiqah smiled brightly. "You're nice too! Want to be best friends?" Misha's face lit up. "Yes! We can learn about computers together every day!" They gave each other a high-five. The computer lab had become their special place. Now they had friendship and new knowledge to share.
