There was a boy named Henry
Who loved to watch the stars.
And his eyes were very twinkly
As he raced around town in his bright red race car.
His car was very fast.
And everyone who knew him said:
“When Henry goes by, my, oh my, it’s just a blur of red!”

One day, Henry decided
That he’d like to go to outer space,
To see the stars in the sky
Up close and face-to-face.
So he built two red rocket wings
And bolted them to the sides of his car.
And placed a silver shiny cone on the front,
And a bubble glass window over the chrome roll bar.
Now his Rocket Car was ready,
So he took off with a blast!
He flew around the world 3 times
And landed back home aghast.
“Wow, that was fast!” he said.
:My car is faster than a rocket ship!”
He was so excited and happy,
He jumped up and did a little flip.

“Now I think it’s time to see the stars’” Henry said,
And he took off with a zoom!
And before you know it
He landed on the moon.
There he met a brown furry robot
That looked just like a bear
With a round silly putty face.
“Which way to the milky way?” Henry asked.
And with a blank stare
The furry robot bear
Just blinked three times and pointed off in space.

“Now I think it’s time to see the stars’” Henry said,
And he took off with a zoom!
And before you know it
He landed on the moon.
There he met a brown furry robot
That looked just like a bear
With a round silly putty face.
“Which way to the milky way?” Henry asked.
And with a blank stare
The furry robot bear
Blinked three times and pointed off in space.

Henry said “Thanks, now I have to go.”
He jumped back into his Rocket Car.
And with the speed of light
He landed on planet Mars.
While he was on Mars
He saw lots of other cars
With big springs and big grey puffy wheels.
They did not fly,
But just drove by
Over rocks and sand and down steep red hills.

Next, Henry flew to Jupiter;
The fancy planet with giant gassy rings.
He passed through the clouds and down to the ground
And landed with his red metal wings.
There the ground was soft and spongy
And Henry’s Rocket car started to wobble.
So with a great roar he blasted off again,
Like a giant cork exploding from a bottle.

This time Henry went far, far out into space,
And came to a tiny little planet named Pluto
That has five white moons .
Henry flew around each of the white moons,
Which he thought looked more like five white prunes,
Or perhaps like five misshaped balloons,
Or even like the faces of five ugly baboons.

He swooshed away from Pluto
And it’s five white moons,
Which faded away in the deep dark space
Like 5 little ghostly goons.

He roared past Jupiter,
Passing right through it’s giant gassy rings.
And the smell of it’s stinky gasses
Made his nose sting.

He honked his horn as he flew past Mars
With all it’s springy grey puffy-wheeled cars.

And as he passed the Earth’s Moon,
He waved to the furry robot bear
Who just looked up at him with a blank robot stare.

And finally he landed back on earth
At his house and in his garage.
And everyone said: “My, Oh my, when Henry goes by, it’s just a red mirage.”
