Tristan hugged Mom Lisa by the tent. He whispered, "I miss Dad." Lisa nodded, wiping tears. They remembered camping trips with Dave's jokes. Together, they breathed deeply and decided to be brave.

They hiked the pine path quietly. An antelope stepped from the trees. Tristan gasped, "It followed us like before!" Lisa smiled softly. The gentle animal blinked, as if saying hello.

Tristan held out an apple slice. The antelope sniffed and nibbled. "Dad loved sharing snacks," Tristan said. Lisa whispered, "He'd laugh at our crumbly trail mix." The wind rustled, warm and kind.

The antelope bowed its head in Dave's familiar way. Tristan blinked. "Did you see that?" Lisa nodded. "It feels like your dad's love is here," she murmured, wrapping Tristan in a hug.

They followed the antelope up the sunny ridge. It paused at their family's favorite lookout. Tristan laughed, "Perfect." Lisa spread a blanket. Together they sipped cocoa, watching clouds sail like boats.

At night, stars glittered. Tristan told a silly story Dave used to tell. The antelope settled nearby. Lisa listened, smiling. Their campsite felt safe, bright, and full of gentle, remembering love.

In morning light, the antelope scraped a neat fire ring. Tristan stared. "Just like Dad taught." Lisa placed stones carefully. They toasted bread on sticks and laughed when crumbs sprinkled like snow.

Before noon, the antelope nudged Tristan's shoulder. He patted its neck. "Thank you, Dad," he whispered. Lisa waved, eyes bright. The antelope bounded away, leaving footsteps shaped like tiny hearts.

Seasons turned. Tristan and Lisa kept camping often. Sometimes the antelope returned, gentle and calm. They shared quiet moments and stories. "We carry love with us," Lisa said, and Tristan agreed.

Years later, twenty-six-year-old Tristan stood taller at the ridge. He felt brave and kind. The antelope stepped from sunlight. "Hi, Dad," Tristan said softly. "I'm okay, and I'm taking care of Mom."

He built a safe fire ring the way Dave taught. The antelope rested nearby, ears flicking. Tristan shared cocoa. "Thanks for guiding me," he whispered. The wind answered with a warm hush.

Tristan hiked home to Lisa, smiling. "Love never wanders far," he said. Together they planned another trip. In the trees, the antelope watched kindly. Everyone's hearts felt light, brave, and full.
