On the sunlit farm fence, Addy leans over the wooden rail offering an open bag of animal crackers while Jack trots up braying. Scarlett sits at her feet, tail wagging against the dusty ground.
Sun warmed the little farm as Jack the donkey trotted to the fence. "Good morning, Jack!" Addy laughed. "Hee-haw!" he brayed like a trumpet. Big Boy Henry and Scarlett wagged. Crunch - animal crackers!
Along the breezy dirt road outside the farmhouse at midday, Addy reaches toward a cracker bag swirling above her head. Jack stands alert beside her while Big Boy Henry bounds forward, ears flapping, tracking the flying snack.
A playful breeze whooshed, snatching Addy's cracker bag. "Oh no!" Addy cried. Jack perked his ears. "We'll fetch it," woofed Big Boy Henry. Scarlett barked, and the team trotted down the winding road.
Under midday clouds in the muddy barnyard, Jack pins the escaped cracker bag with a hoof beside puddles and scattered feathers. Scarlett nudges the bag toward Addy waiting nearby at the wooden gate.
Feathers fluttered and goats bleated as the bag skittered. "Easy, team!" Addy called. Scarlett steered it from puddles. Big Boy Henry guarded the gate. Jack sidestepped, "Hee-haw!" and pinned the bag gently.
Late-afternoon sunlight slants across the quiet farmyard as Addy kneels on the grass, scooping up the recovered cracker bag with a broad grin. Jack munches a cracker beside her while Big Boy Henry leans in happily for a pat.
Addy scooped the bag and grinned. "Great teamwork!" she cheered. Jack chomped a cracker - crunch! Big Boy Henry and Scarlett got pats. "Tomorrow, same greeting?" Addy asked. Jack brayed proudly, "Hee-haw, happiest greeter!"
