Jaden the nervous tiger sitting on a bus, looking out the window with excitement
Jaden the nervous tiger was going on a field trip to the zoo with his class. He was both excited and nervous about the adventure. He had never been to the zoo before, and he was curious about all the animals he would see. His friends, Roger the rowdy zebra, Pie the silly giraffe, and Rose the sad hippo, were going too. The bus ride was filled with chatter and laughter. Jaden kept imagining all the fun they would have. As they arrived at the zoo, Jaden's heart was racing with excitement.

Once inside the zoo, Jaden was amazed by the sights and sounds. The first animals they visited were the monkeys. Jaden loved watching them swing from branch to branch. He giggled as one monkey made funny faces at him. His classmates were moving on to the next exhibit, but Jaden was too distracted. He didn't notice when his class started to walk away. Jaden was still glued to the monkey antics, unaware of his surroundings. It was only when the monkeys stopped playing that Jaden looked around.

When Jaden looked up, he realized his class was gone. Panic started to bubble up inside him. He looked around frantically, hoping to spot a familiar face. But all he saw were strangers and more animals. Jaden's heart began to beat faster, and he felt very alone. He remembered his teacher's instructions to stay with the group. The zoo suddenly felt much bigger and scarier. Jaden took a deep breath, trying to calm himself.

Jaden remembered his special breathing exercise that always helped him. "First, I smell the flowers," he whispered to himself, taking a deep breath in. "Then, I blow out the candle," he said, slowly exhaling. He repeated this a few times until he felt a little calmer. Jaden knew he had to find his class, but he needed to be brave. He looked around for any signs or markers that could guide him. With each breath, he felt a little more confident. Jaden decided to start walking in the direction he thought his class went.

As Jaden walked, he heard a familiar voice. It was Pie, the silly giraffe, who had also wandered off. Pie was munching on some leaves from a tall tree. "Pie! I'm so glad to see you," Jaden exclaimed with relief. Pie looked down and smiled, "I'm glad to see you too, Jaden! I got distracted by these tasty leaves." Together, they decided to find their way back to the class. Pie was tall and could see over the crowds, which was very helpful. Jaden felt less nervous with Pie by his side.

With Pie's help, Jaden started to feel more hopeful. They spotted a sign pointing towards the main path. Following the signs, they walked past the elephants and the flamingos. Jaden was amazed by how beautiful the animals were. He was still nervous, but Pie's jokes made him laugh. They asked a friendly zookeeper for directions back to their group. The zookeeper pointed them in the right direction with a smile. Jaden thanked the zookeeper and felt proud of himself for being brave.
