Promise held her special book tightly. Today was the day for a big adventure! Her book had empty pages waiting to be filled with letters. "I'm going to find all the letters," Promise said with a smile. She opened the book and a sparkly door appeared. "Wow!" she giggled. Promise stepped through the door into a colorful world. Everything glowed with rainbow colors. "Hello, Letter Land!" she called out happily.

A big red letter A bounced toward Promise. "Stop right there!" said A in a deep voice. Promise wasn't scared. She remembered what Mommy taught her. "A is for apple and number one!" Promise said proudly. She held up one finger. The letter A smiled and began to shrink. "You're very smart," said A softly. A floated into Promise's book and landed on the first page. Promise clapped her hands with joy.

A blue letter B hopped down the path. "Can you catch me?" B asked playfully. Promise giggled and ran after B. "B is for ball and number two!" she shouted. She held up two fingers high. B stopped hopping and spun around. "You got it right!" B cheered happily. B flew into Promise's book on the second page. "Two letters now!" Promise counted on her fingers. She was learning so much already.

A curvy letter C rolled like a wheel. "Catch me if you can!" C called out. Promise smiled big. "C is for cat and number three!" she announced. She showed three fingers to C. The letter C stopped rolling immediately. "Wonderful!" C purred like a kitten. C curled into Promise's book gently. Promise hugged her book tight. "Three letters are home now," she said. The pages glowed brighter with each letter.

Letter D danced in circles around Promise. "Dance with me!" D sang sweetly. Promise danced and laughed out loud. "D is for dog and number four!" Promise called while dancing. She waved four fingers in the air. D twirled one last beautiful time. "You dance and learn well!" D said kindly. D waltzed right into the book. Promise's book felt warmer in her hands. She knew more letters meant more magic.

Letter E bounced up excitedly before Promise. "I have three lines!" E said proudly. Promise nodded her head yes. "E is for elephant and number five!" she exclaimed. She spread all five fingers wide. E jumped up and down happily. "You're so clever!" E praised warmly. E slid into the book smoothly. Promise counted her letters again carefully. "One, two, three, four, five!" she counted. She was halfway to finishing her adventure.

Letter F flew through the air gracefully. "Follow me up high!" F called down. Promise reached up toward the sky. "F is for fish and number six!" she yelled upward. She counted six fingers for F. F swooped down gently beside her. "Perfect counting!" F said with a smile. F floated into Promise's waiting book. The book sparkled like morning sunshine. Promise felt proud of all her learning.

A green letter G rolled up slowly. "Guess my number!" G asked mysteriously. Promise thought for just a moment. "G is for grapes and number seven!" Promise answered confidently. She showed seven fingers to G. G smiled a big, wide smile. "Great job, Promise!" G said happily. G rolled straight into her book. Promise giggled at the tickly feeling. Seven letters were safe in her book.

Letter H stood tall like a ladder. "Climb high with me!" H offered kindly. Promise pretended to climb up high. "H is for hat and number eight!" she said cheerfully. She held up eight fingers proudly. H laughed a warm, gentle laugh. "You're wonderful at this!" H praised sweetly. H stepped into the book carefully. Promise felt so happy and smart. Only a few more letters to find.

A skinny letter I stood very straight. "I'm important!" I announced clearly. Promise nodded in strong agreement today. "I is for ice cream and number nine!" Promise said excitedly. She counted nine fingers for I. I stood even taller with pride. "You know me well!" I said. I marched into the book proudly. Promise's book was almost completely full. She felt excited to finish soon.

Letter J jumped high and low energetically. "Jump with me, Promise!" J invited excitedly. Promise jumped up and down too. "J is for jump and number ten!" she shouted while jumping. She showed all ten fingers happily. J did one final big jump. "Excellent!" J cheered very loudly. J hopped into the book quickly. Promise was breathing hard from jumping. "Just a little more!" she encouraged herself.

Promise looked at her book proudly filled with letters. "I learned so much today!" she said to herself. The book glowed with beautiful, warm light all around. Each letter waved from its special page happily. "Thank you for learning with us!" they sang together sweetly. Promise hugged her book very tight against her chest. The sparkly door appeared again before her. She stepped through back to home. "I can't wait for tomorrow's adventure!" Promise smiled big.
