In Leo's brightly lit bedroom, the open sticker-covered box rests on the floor. Leo grins and clomps around wearing shiny silver boots.
Leo found a big box in his room. It had colorful stickers on the sides. "What's inside?" he wondered. Leo opened the lid and peeked in. There were silver boots, a red cape, and a golden crown! "Wow!" said Leo. He pulled out the shiny silver boots. Clomp, clomp, clomp! Leo marched around his room. "These are special boots," he said with a big smile. Leo couldn't wait to try everything in the magic box.
On his bed in the same bedroom, Leo launches off the mattress with arms stretched forward, red cape streaming behind. He aims for a soft pile of pillows on the floor under warm indoor light.
Leo put on the red cape. "I'm a superhero!" he shouted. Zoom! He ran around his room with his arms out. "I can fly to save the day!" Leo jumped off his bed onto a pile of pillows. Swoosh! He landed safely. "Bad guys, watch out!" Leo said in his bravest voice. He pretended to catch a sneaky robber. Then he tied up the invisible villain with his jump rope. "Another day saved!" Leo cheered.
Leo sits upright on his bed like a throne, golden crown gleaming atop his head. He proudly raises a wooden spoon-sword while toys lie scattered across the softly lit bedroom.
Next, Leo found a wooden spoon in the box. "Ahoy! I'm a pirate captain!" He held the spoon like a sword. Leo climbed onto his toy chest. "This is my pirate ship," he announced. Then he spotted the golden crown. Leo put it on his head. "Wait, now I'm a king!" he declared. King Leo sat on his bed-throne. "I rule the whole bedroom!" He waved his spoon-sword proudly. But then Leo looked down.
Evening in the bedroom, toys litter the floor beneath a glowing bedside lamp. Leo races to fold the red cape and drop it into the sticker-covered box beside the silver boots and crown.
The box was empty. Toys covered the floor everywhere! "Uh oh," said Leo. Then he had an idea. "Time for the cleanup game!" Leo picked up the boots. Clomp, clomp, into the box! He folded the cape carefully. The crown went in too. Leo gathered all his toys. "Faster, faster!" he said, racing against himself. Soon the room was neat. Leo yawned. He climbed into bed. "That was the best magic ever," he whispered, closing his eyes.
