
In the crib, Lil Vegas smiles, 'Let’s count tonight,' bright. Star Car purrs, 'Buckle up; we’ll travel by light. Seatbelts click snug; dashboards twinkle just right. They launch giggling, 'Numbers ahead!' in sight.

'First stop,' says Star Car, '1 (one),' fun. Picture shows 1 (one) sun, fun. 'Count it loud,' Vegas sings, 'just one,' fun. They trace its circle; learning’s begun, fun.

'Next,' Vegas laughs, '2 (two) shoes we’ll choose,' shoes. Picture shows 2 (two) shoes, blues. 'Left and right,' says Star Car, 'no lose,' shoes. They tap-tap twice, counting their moves, shoes.

'Now,' Star Car points, '3 (three) stars,' far. Picture shows 3 (three) stars, sparkle afar, star. 'One, two, three,' Vegas chants like a guitar, star. They join the dots, drawing a star, star.

'Glide to skies,' whispers Vegas, '4 (four),' more. Picture shows 4 (four) clouds we adore, more. 'Puff-puff-puff-puff,' Star Car counts the score, more. They drift through fluff, then ask for more, more.

'Give me 5 (five),' Vegas grins, alive, thrive. Picture shows 5 (five) hands that hive, thrive. 'Slap-slap-slap-slap-slap!' echoes the drive, thrive. They high-five thrice, then twice to five, thrive.

'Back at the crib, 6 (six) bricks,' mix. Picture shows 6 (six) bricks to fix, mix. 'Stack them tall,' says Star Car, 'no tricks,' mix. They build-clap-build, counting the clicks, mix.

'Chart a map—7 (seven) seas,' breeze. Picture shows 7 (seven) seas with ease, breeze. 'Sail them in dreams,' Vegas agrees, please. They trace blue waves, saying 'se-ven' with ease, breeze.

'Zoom past planets—8 (eight),' says Star Car, 'great!' Picture shows 8 (eight) planets straight, great. 'Mercury to Neptune,' Vegas grins, 'we celebrate,' great. They count each world, glide figure-eight, great.

'Constellations time—9 (nine) lines,' shines. Picture shows 9 (nine) lines in designs, shines. 'Draw-dot-draw,' Vegas says, 'the sky aligns,' shines. They whisper 'nine' as the pattern shines, shines.

'Home stretch—10 (ten) fingers,' cheers Vegas, 'ten!' Picture shows 10 (ten) fingers; they wiggle again, ten. 'One to ten,' Star Car counts, 'and then?' when. They clap a rhythm, counting to ten again, when.

Back at the crib, they land soft, night. 'We counted 1–10,' says Vegas, 'just right,' bright. Star Car beams, 'Numbers, pictures, spellings in sight,' bright. They whisper, 'Learning’s joy,' and dream till light, bright.
