Morning sparkled, and Link, the brave chocolate dachshund, wagged fiercely. "Adventure?" he barked. Laura smiled, adjusting her medium-blonde hair. "Adventure," she agreed. Together, they trotted toward the park, noses and hearts curious.

A mischievous breeze snatched Laura’s picnic map. "Oh no!" she cried. The paper twirled like a butterfly. "I’ve got this!" Link barked, sprinting low and long. Laura laughed, chasing after his bold paws.

The map slipped under a bench, then fluttered toward the playground tunnel. "Tunnel time!" Laura cheered. Link wiggled through, tail drumming. "Almost there!" she called. He nosed the paper free, triumphant and wagging.

On a sunny hill, Laura spread their picnic. "You’re my fearless helper," she said. Link curled proudly on her lap. "Tomorrow, adventure?" he woofed. "Tomorrow," Laura promised, as clouds sailed gently.
