Lola was a little llama who loved to listen. She loved story time at school. But reading was hard.

They started with "L" for Llama. "L-L-L," Lola practiced. It was like singing a song!

Next came easy words: "Cat" "Dog" "Sun" Lola smiled. She could do it!

Every night, Lola practiced. She read to her toys: "The cat sat. The dog ran. The sun is up."

Soon, Lola could read more! She helped her friend Max: "We can do it together!"

Now Lola reads at story time. Her heart feels proud. She knows that practice makes perfect.
