Inside the bright morning classroom, Magnus, a small green dragon-boy, stands by his desk under sunlight streaming through windows, grinning wide as he arranges colorful toy blocks beside his open notebook.
Magnus is a small green dragon who loves school! He has bright eyes and a happy smile. Magnus likes to play with toys and learn new things. Sometimes Magnus feels so excited that he forgets to use safe claws. Today is a new day at school. Magnus is ready to learn and play!
Outdoor on the sunny playground, Magnus lunges toward a shiny red ball held by a classmate; his claws accidentally pinch the classmate’s hand, leaving Magnus wide-eyed with surprise while the child winces.
Magnus sees a red ball at playtime. He reaches for it quickly. Ouch! His claws pinch his friend's hand by mistake. His friend says, "That hurt!" Magnus feels confused. He didn't mean to hurt anyone. He just wanted to play with the ball too.
Inside the softly lit classroom corner, Ms. Chen kneels beside Magnus seated on a colorful rug, smiling gently while demonstrating relaxed hands; Magnus watches intently, his snout tilted up and eyes shining with curiosity.
Ms. Chen, the kind teacher, comes over. She kneels down next to Magnus. "Magnus, I see you want to play," she says gently. "Let me show you safe claws." She holds her hands softly. Magnus watches carefully. He wants to learn the right way.
In the afternoon classroom light, Ms. Chen holds out her palm over a wooden table, showing a soft touch; Magnus copies on his own forearm, concentrating hard yet smiling when she nods approval.
"Safe claws are gentle and soft," Ms. Chen explains. She shows Magnus how to touch gently. "No pinching. Just soft touches." Magnus tries it on his own arm first. "Like this?" he asks. "Yes! Perfect, Magnus!" says Ms. Chen with a warm smile.
Still indoors under warm ceiling lights, Magnus practices gentle claws, softly tapping a red ball then the nearby table; Ms. Chen stands beside him with a proud grin, clipboard tucked under one arm.
Magnus practices with Ms. Chen. He touches the ball gently. He touches the table softly. "Magnus uses safe claws!" Ms. Chen says proudly. Magnus feels happy inside. He is learning something important. Now he can show his friends his safe claws too!
In the play area carpeted with blocks, Magnus kneels opposite a classmate building a colorful tower; he waits patiently, claws folded on his lap, while the classmate smiles and slides a blue block toward him.
Magnus wants to play with blocks. Another friend is building a tower. Magnus remembers his safe claws. He waits patiently. "Can I have a turn?" Magnus asks. "Yes! Your turn, my turn," his friend says. They take turns adding blocks together.
Under bright overhead lights, Magnus stands beside an ever-taller block tower, pausing mid-reach with claws hovering; he whispers 'safe claws,' breathing calmly before gently placing a yellow block on top.
Magnus builds a tall tower! He feels so excited! His claws start to reach quickly. Wait! Magnus remembers. He stops and takes a deep breath. "Safe claws," he whispers to himself. He touches the blocks gently. Magnus uses safe claws even when excited!
In the art room bathed in afternoon sun, Magnus sits at a paint-splattered table, looking remorseful after pinching; Ms. Chen leans over with a reassuring smile as he cautiously grips a crayon using softened claws.
During art time, Magnus accidentally pinches again. He feels upset with himself. "It's okay, Magnus," says Ms. Chen kindly. "Learning takes time. Everyone makes mistakes." Magnus nods. He tries again with gentle claws. This time, he uses safe claws! He did it!
Inside the bright classroom, Magnus stands below a high wooden shelf, pointing at a colorful toy; he looks up hopefully while Ms. Chen beside him reaches overhead, warm daylight flooding through nearby windows.
Magnus sees a toy on the high shelf. He wants it but can't reach. He feels frustrated. Instead of grabbing, Magnus raises his claw. "Ms. Chen, can you help me please?" he asks. "Of course!" she says. Asking for help feels good!
In the quiet 'calm corner' lit by soft lamp glow, Magnus sits cross-legged on a fluffy pillow, eyes closed and breathing slowly; a bookshelf and stuffed bear frame the peaceful nook.
Sometimes Magnus feels overwhelmed. Too many sounds, too much to do! Ms. Chen shows him the calm corner. "When you need a break, come here," she says. Magnus sits with a soft pillow. He breathes slowly. After his break, he feels better!
On the sunny playground grass, Magnus and a classmate kneel opposite each other rolling a striped ball back and forth, both smiling widely; other children run in blurred background.
Magnus's friends want to play with him now. They know Magnus uses safe claws! They play a game together. Magnus is gentle and takes turns. "You're a good friend, Magnus!" they say. Magnus's heart feels warm and happy. He belongs here!
In the classroom doorway glowing with late-afternoon light, Ms. Chen bends to give Magnus a triumphant high-five; Magnus beams, tail lifted, backpacks hanging on nearby hooks and golden sun rays casting long shadows.
At the end of the day, Ms. Chen gives Magnus a high-five. "You used safe claws today, Magnus! I'm proud of you." Magnus feels proud too. He learned something new. Magnus uses safe claws! Tomorrow he will practice again. Learning is fun!
