Mathew held his little sister hand as they stepped onto the farm. "Look at all the animals!" he exclaimed, pointing at the big red barn. Julia clapped her tiny hands and giggled with excitement. The morning sun made everything look golden and warm. Farmer Joe waved to them from the gate, ready to show them around.

"Time to feed the chickens," said Farmer Joe, handing Mathew a small bucket of corn. Mathew carefully sprinkled the grains while the chickens clucked around him. Julia watched with wide eyes, staying close to her big brother. "They're saying thank you," Mathew told Julia, making her smile. The chickens danced around them, pecking happily at their breakfast.

Next, they saw a soft, fluffy bunny resting in the hay.
“Pet gently,” said Mathew, stroking the bunny’s fur with little hands.
Julia reached out slowly, her tiny hand touching the bunny. Its whiskers tickled her fingers, and she giggled.
Mathew gave the bunny a carrot, and the bunny ate it in tiny bites, its little nose was wiggling.
“Bunny hungry!” Julia said, pointing and smiling.

Inside the barn, a big brown cow mooed softly at them. "Would you like to try milking?" Farmer Joe asked Mathew. Mathew nodded excitedly and sat on the small stool. Following Farmer Joe's instructions, he gently squeezed and pulled, amazed when milk squirted into the bucket. "I did it!" he cheered while Julia clapped for him.

"Piggies!" Julia shouted, pointing at the pink piglets rolling in mud. One piglet was completely covered, with only its eyes peeking out. Mathew laughed when it snorted and wagged its curly tail. "They're taking a mud bath," explained Farmer Joe. Julia mimicked the piglet's snort, making everyone laugh.

Fluffy sheep grazed under a big oak tree in the meadow. "They feel like clouds!" Mathew said, touching the soft wool. Julia tried to say "sheep" but it came out as "seep," making Mathew smile. A little lamb came up to Julia and nuzzled her hand. "The lamb likes you," Farmer Joe told her, and Julia beamed with pride.

"Who wants a tractor ride?" Farmer Joe asked, pointing at his big green tractor. "Me! Me!" Mathew and Julia shouted together, jumping up and down. Farmer Joe lifted them carefully onto the seat. The tractor rumbled and started moving across the field. Mathew held Julia securely as they both laughed with delight.

The tractor rolled past tall golden cornfields that seemed to reach the sky. "Corn taller than Daddy!" Julia observed, looking up in wonder. Farmer Joe stopped to let them touch the silky corn tassels. "This is where the popcorn comes from," he told to Mathew. Julia tried to repeat "popcorn" but said "pop-pop" instead.

Next, they visited a field with trees full of shiny red apples. Farmer Joe lifted Mathew up to pick his own apple. "It's so big!" Mathew said, holding his prize. Then Farmer Joe helped Julia reach a small apple perfect for her tiny hands. "Apple for Julia!" she announced proudly, clutching it to her chest.

The strawberry patch smelled sweet and delicious. "Find the red ones," Farmer Joe instructed, showing them how to pick strawberries. Mathew found a big juicy one and took a bite. "Mmm, the best one yet!" he declared with red juice on his chin. Julia carefully picked a tiny strawberry and popped it into her mouth, her eyes were lightning up from joy.

Farmer Joe spread a blanket under a shady tree for lunch. He gave them fresh milk from the cow they'd met earlier. "We helped to make this!" Mathew told Julia as they munched on sandwiches. Julia nodded sleepily, getting tired from all the excitement. Mathew shared his apple with her, cutting it into small pieces.

As the sun began to set, it was time to say goodbye to the farm. "Thank you, Farmer Joe!" Mathew said, waving with excitement. Julia blew kisses to all the animals they had met. The sky turned orange and pink as they took one last look at the farm. "We'll come back soon," Mathew promised, holding his sleepy sister's hand.
