Milo, in yellow T-shirt and red gumboots, tosses a red ball high in the sunny garden. Penny, a fluffy white rabbit in a green dress, catches it with her paws while butterflies flutter around them.
One sunny morning, Milo the Monkey met his best friend Penny the Rabbit in the garden. The sky was bright blue and flowers bloomed everywhere. "Let's play!" called Milo, wearing his yellow T-shirt and blue shorts. Penny hopped over in her pretty green dress. They laughed and chased colorful butterflies. Milo tossed a red ball high into the air. Penny caught it with her fluffy paws. "This is the best day ever!" said Penny with a big smile. The two friends played happily under the warm sunshine.
Milo, in yellow T-shirt and red gumboots, jumps in a rain puddle, splashing water. Penny, in a wet green dress, hops into another puddle and laughs under the rainy sky.
Suddenly, tiny raindrops began to fall from the sky. "Oh!" said Penny, looking up. The drops felt cool on her nose. Milo grinned and jumped in a puddle. Splash! Water flew everywhere. "Let's splash in the puddles!" said Milo excitedly. Penny smiled and hopped into a puddle too. Splash, splash, splash! They jumped and laughed together. Soon raindrops fell faster and faster. Both friends were wet from their heads to their toes. "My fur feels so heavy," said Penny. "My T-shirt is wet too!" said Milo, giggling.
Grandma Tilly Turtle, wearing a lavender apron, helps Milo hang his yellow T-shirt on a clothesline. Penny, holding a towel, notices a dripping tap near the garden.
Just then, Grandma Tilly Turtle walked by slowly. She wore her cozy lavender apron and smiled kindly. "Playing in the rain is fun, my dears," she said warmly. "But now let's help your clothes become dry." She gave Penny a soft, fluffy towel. Penny rubbed her wet fur gently. Grandma Tilly helped Milo hang his yellow T-shirt on the clothesline. The warm sun peeked through the clouds. While they waited, Penny noticed a tap dripping near the garden. Drip, drip, drip. "Water is being wasted!" said Penny with concern.
Milo and Penny turn the dripping tap tightly closed in the garden while Grandma Tilly Turtle watches with a proud smile.
Milo and Penny hurried to the tap. Together they turned it tightly until it stopped dripping. "Wonderful!" smiled Grandma Tilly proudly. "Every drop of water is precious and must not be wasted." The friends nodded, understanding. After a while, the warm sunshine did its work. Milo's yellow T-shirt was completely dry. He put it back on happily. Penny's white fur was fluffy and dry again too. The friends smiled at each other. "We learned so much today," said Milo. "Rain makes things wet, sunshine helps them dry, and caring friends always help each other while saving water!" agreed Penny joyfully.
