Milo the mouse dreamed big. "Later," he yawned, leaf-cuddled. Rabbit bounced, saying, "Dreams wake when you do." Bird flapped and chirped, "Try with me!" Milo watched, promising to start tomorrow.

Morning sun tickled Milo awake. Rabbit knocked gently, "Set one tiny goal today." Bird circled overhead, chirping, "Practice makes possible!" "After breakfast," Milo said, arranging crumbs carefully. Breakfast stretched into noon.

Afternoon arrived with a cozy breeze. Milo planned a list, then napped instead. Rabbit lifted the list, "Start just one nibble." Bird landed nearby, "I'll practice beside you." Milo sat up, still stalling.

A poster fluttered: "Hill Climb tomorrow!" Milo whispered, "I want to enter." Rabbit grinned, "Then train today, friend." Bird soared, showing steady flaps. Milo rearranged pebbles, saying, "Soon."

Rabbit set a twig timer. "Two minutes," he said, "Hop now!" Bird chirped, "I'll flap two minutes too." Milo smiled, "I can nibble steps that long." The timer ticked, and Milo began.

Nibbles became bites of progress. Milo climbed one stone, then two. He flopped, sighing, "Maybe later again." Rabbit offered water, "Start small again, right now." Bird counted flaps; Milo restarted, determined.

Morning arrived; the Hill Climb began. Milo whispered, "Two minutes," and started strong. Rabbit hopped beside him, cheering. Bird circled above, "Flap by flap!" Milo reached the top, proud and panting.

At sunset, Milo thanked his friends. "I began because you believed." Rabbit hugged him, "We'll start small tomorrow, too." Bird chirped, "Practice makes possible." Milo grinned, "Later can wait; now can grow."
