In a bright classroom, Teacher stands at the board holding a shiny red key and points to a large letter A. Several young children at desks clap and hold red crayons.
Teacher smiled at her class. 'Good morning, friends!' she said. She held up a shiny red key. 'This is special. It unlocks letters!' The children clapped. 'Let's start with the letter A,' Teacher said. She drew a big A and a small a on the board. 'A says ah like apple!' The children repeated, 'Ah, ah, apple!' Teacher gave each child a red crayon. 'Now you try!' Everyone drew the letter A carefully on their lines.
Teacher holds the red key next to a board showing big C and little c, while several young children at desks trace the letters in the air with their fingers.
Teacher turned the red key. Suddenly, the letter B appeared! 'B says buh like ball,' she sang. The children giggled and said, 'Buh, buh, ball!' Next came C. 'C says kuh like cat,' Teacher explained. She showed them how to write big C and little c on the lines. The children traced the letters with their fingers first. Then they wrote C and c with their red crayons. 'You're doing wonderfully!' Teacher cheered.
In a colorful classroom, Teacher passes rainbow crayons to several young children at desks as the board glows with dancing letters D, E, F.
'Let's make our letters colorful!' Teacher said. She used the red key again. Letters D, E, and F danced on the board. 'D says duh, E says eh, F says fuh,' the children sang together. Teacher gave them rainbow crayons. They wrote uppercase D, E, F on the top lines. Then they wrote lowercase d, e, f on the bottom lines. Each letter was a different color. The classroom looked like a rainbow! Everyone smiled proudly.
Teacher sits in a circle on the classroom rug with several young children, all holding up colorful papers showing letters A through F and singing.
Teacher gathered everyone in a circle. 'You've learned so much!' she said warmly. The children held up their letter papers. Together, they sang the alphabet song from A to F. 'A, B, C, D, E, F!' they sang loudly. Teacher clapped her hands. 'The red key helped us unlock reading!' she said. 'Tomorrow we'll learn more letters.' The children cheered. They took their colorful letters home. Learning was fun!
