Nora wakes up, stretching with a smile, Mama whispers, "Rise, it's school in a while!" Sunbeams dance upon her bed, Papa strokes Nora's sleepy head.

Wilma pours milk and toasts some bread, Mama offers fruit, "Eat up!" she said. Papa chuckles, "Big day, little star," Nora munches happily, school’s not far.

Nora wriggles into her uniform neat, Mama helps her tiny shoes on her feet. Papa buttons up, “Look at you grow!” Nora grins, ready to go.

Papa waves as the big bus stops, "Bye Nora!" and her lunchbox plops. She waves at Mama with a cheer, Wilma says, "You’ll do great, my dear!"

Nora peers through the window bright, Children giggle with pure delight. Bus wobbles and rumbles, songs are sung, Nora hums with the group, feeling young.

The teacher greets, "Welcome to school!" New friends wave by the cubby stool. Nora clings to her bag, but soon she tries, To share a smile, and say hi.

Kids sit down in a circle wide, Nora joins in, curiosity inside. Songs and stories fill the air, Laughter and music everywhere.

The teacher calls, "Time for lunch, you all!" Nora finds her seat near the wall. She opens her box, apple and cheese, Eats her rice with purposeful ease.

A soft mat waits for Nora to lay, She yawns and cuddles her bear today. Teacher dims light, soft voices drift, Nora’s eyelids flutter and swiftly lift.

After rest, it’s time for play, Nora jumps and laughs hooray! Slides and swings and chasing tag, Sandcastle towers, not a drag.

The school bell rings, it’s time to leave, Nora lines up, wipes her sleeve. Onto the school bus, she gives a shout, Ready for hugs when she gets out!

The bus door opens, Wilma stands by, Arms stretched wide and sweet apple pie. “How was your day?” Wilma asks with pride, Nora smiles big, right by her side.
