One sunny day, Nuha found a shiny rock. It went sparkle-sparkle in her hand. She gasped. “It’s magic!”

“Look, Nayla!” said Nuha. Nayla looked close. “It’s a sky pebble! So rare! So shiny!” They touched it together. WHOOSH!

The wind went swirl-swirl around them. The sky opened wide. They flew into the clouds! Nuha giggled. Nayla cheered!

They landed on soft, puffy clouds. Cloud bunnies bounced by. “Boing! Boing!” A pink bird flapped by and said, “Welcome, Sky Sisters!”

A tiny star cried, “I lost my twinkle!” Nuha gave a big hug. Nayla made a silly face. The star giggled — Twinkle! Twinkle! It lit up again!

The path was shiny and rainbow bright. But — uh-oh! — a sleepy cloud blocked the way. “Only giggly girls can pass!” it said. So they made the silliest sound: “Wiggle-waggle-woo!” The cloud laughed. “Go on through!”

The Queen wore stars in her hair. “You helped a star. You made us laugh. You are kind and brave.” She smiled. “Take these gifts.”

Nuha got a glowing ring. Nayla got a moon badge. “Hold hands,” said the Queen, “And you’ll always find magic.”

ZOOM! They were back in their room. The pebble was on the floor. Was it a dream? Nuha smiled. Nayla winked. Sisters always know.

To Nuha and Nayla — This book is for two magical sisters, who laugh big, dream wild, and love each other so much. With all my heart,
