Dazia is her parent's living room
Dazia sat at her kitchen table, eating rice for dinner. "Mom, everyone loves rice!" she exclaimed. "What if I started a business helping people?" Her mom smiled. "What would you help with?" Dazia thought hard. "I could help solve problems, just like we fix recipes!" She grabbed her notebook and wrote 'Rice Consulting Company' on the first page. "Rice makes everything better, so my company will too!" That night, Dazia designed a poster with crayons. Tomorrow, she would open for business.
In a small backyard garden under bright afternoon sun, Dazia kneels beside drooping potted plants, notebook open on the grass, pointing toward a sunnier corner. An elderly neighbor with round glasses leans on a shovel, smiling gratefully at her.
Dazia hung her poster on the community board. Her neighbor, Mr. Chen, walked over. "Rice Consulting? What do you consult about?" he asked. "Problems! I help fix them," Dazia explained proudly. Mr. Chen rubbed his chin. "My garden won't grow vegetables. Can you help?" Dazia grabbed her notebook. "Let me investigate!" She examined his garden carefully. The plants looked thirsty and sad. "Mr. Chen, they need more water and sunshine!" She helped him move pots to a sunny spot. Mr. Chen smiled widely. "Thank you, consultant Dazia!"
Inside a brightly lit craft room, Dazia presses her custom rice-grain stamp onto colorful certificates spread across a worktable. A middle-aged woman with a paint-splattered apron stands behind labeled boxes of beads and yarn, watching with impressed eyes.
Word spread about Dazia's consulting. Mrs. Palmer needed help organizing her craft supplies. Dazia created colorful labels for each box. The twins down the street couldn't agree on playground rules. Dazia helped them write fair rules together. "You're really good at this!" the twins said. By Friday, five people had hired Rice Consulting. Dazia kept careful notes about each job. She even made a special stamp with a rice grain on it. Every satisfied customer got a stamped certificate. Dazia felt proud watching her notebook fill with successful projects.
On a living-room couch at dusk, warm lamp light pooling nearby, Dazia proudly displays her crowded notebook of solved problems. Her smiling mom hugs her, while the bright Rice Consulting poster hangs on the wall behind them.
Dazia's mom asked about her successful week. "What's your secret, sweetie?" Dazia grinned. "I listen carefully, think creatively, and always try my best!" She showed her mom the notebook full of solved problems. "Just like rice goes with everything, good thinking helps with everything too!" Her mom hugged her tight. "You've built something special." Dazia nodded. "Next week, I'm helping the library organize books!" She looked at her poster proudly. Rice Consulting Company was real, and it was helping everyone. Dazia couldn't wait for more adventures.
