Girl pressed her nose against the window. Daddy whooshed past on his bicycle, ringing his bell. "Look, Lilli!" she giggled. The white dog with black spots barked happily, her tail wagging fast. Through the meadow, Mummy rode Oratelli, the gentle brown horse with three magical ears. One ear turned this way, one turned that way, and one pointed straight up! "They're having so much fun," Girl said. Lilli jumped up and pawed at the door. "Should we go outside too?" Girl asked. Lilli barked yes!

Girl ran outside with Lilli bouncing beside her. Mummy guided Oratelli over to them, smiling wide. "Would you like a ride?" Mummy asked. "Yes, yes!" Girl clapped her hands. Mummy lifted Girl onto the saddle in front of her. Oratelli's three ears wiggled hello. Girl gently patted his friendly dark mane. "Hold on tight," Mummy whispered. They trotted across the soft grass while Lilli ran circles around them, barking with joy. The wind tickled Girl's cheeks and made her laugh.

When they returned, Daddy was waiting with his football. "Who wants to play?" he called out. "Me! Me!" Girl slid down from Oratelli with Mummy's help. Daddy kicked the ball gently toward Girl. She ran after it, but Lilli got there first! The spotted dog grabbed the ball in her mouth and raced away. "Lilli, come back!" Girl giggled, chasing after her. Daddy laughed and joined the chase too. Around the garden they ran, Lilli dodging left and right. Finally, she dropped the ball at Girl's feet.

As the sun began to set, everyone gathered in the garden. Girl sat on the grass between Mummy and Daddy. Lilli curled up beside her, tired from all the running. Oratelli munched hay nearby, his three ears relaxed and droopy. "This was the best day," Girl said with a big yawn. "Every day is special here," Mummy said, hugging her close. Daddy ruffled Girl's light brown hair. Oratelli's middle ear perked up as if agreeing. Girl smiled, knowing tomorrow would bring more wonderful adventures in their never-boring home.
