Osh, Ish, and XL were going to Jerusalem with Jesus. 'We'll see the temple, God's special house!' Ish said. Osh was excited to see the big city. They walked happily along the dusty road.

'We need a donkey,' Jesus said. XL pointed. 'Look! A mommy donkey and her colt.' Osh and Ish ran to see the cute animals.

The disciples put their cloaks on the colt, and Jesus sat on it. 'He's riding like a king!' Osh whispered. Ish clapped her hands in joy. They followed Jesus as he rode into the city.

People spread their cloaks on the road for Jesus to ride over. Some waved palm leaves! 'What are they doing?' Ish asked. 'They're showing respect for Jesus,' XL explained.

'Hosanna to the Son of David!' the people shouted. 'What's 'Hosanna' mean?' Ish asked. 'It means 'Save us!'' XL said. Osh and Ish loved the excitement.

Everyone was happy to see Jesus. The whole city was buzzing with excitement. Osh and Ish held hands as they walked. They couldn't wait to see the temple.

At the temple, instead of peace, it was noisy! People were selling things inside. Jesus looked around with a serious face. Osh and Ish were confused.

Jesus was upset. He overturned tables, saying, 'This is my Father's house, a house of prayer! Not for buying and selling!' Osh and Ish had never seen Jesus angry.

'Why is he upset?' Ish asked XL. 'It's like throwing trash at Grandma's house,' XL explained. 'It makes her sad because she loves her house.' Osh nodded, understanding.

Osh and Ish learned that God's house is special. We should be respectful there, just like at the homes of people we love. They promised to always be kind and respectful. Jesus smiled at them.

The temple was quiet again. People prayed and sang softly. Osh and Ish felt peaceful. They knew they had learned an important lesson.

Osh, Ish, and XL walked back home. They talked about all they had seen. 'We'll always remember to respect God's house,' Osh said. Ish nodded happily.
