Parker wiggled in his seat, excited. “Did you know I saw a squirrel with a hat?” he whispered. Ms. Maple smiled gently and said, “Parker, let’s hear what Jamie wants to share too.” Parker nodded, realizing his friends were trying to listen as well.

Ms. Maple handed Parker a shiny pebble. "This is your WOW Pebble!" she said warmly. "Share one idea now and save the rest in your Thought Pocket, right here." She tapped his pretend pocket, and Parker beamed. "Yesterday, I helped make cookies with Grandma!" he shared, and everyone giggled.

Parker zipped his Thought Pocket shut and listened to his friends. He wanted to share more but waited patiently. When circle time ended, Ms. Maple clapped, “Now, open your pockets!” Parker grinned, ready to let out all his saved thoughts.

Parker unzipped his pretend pocket, spilling out his saved giggles, jokes, and stories. His friends cheered, “WOW!” Parker laughed happily, “One pebble now, the rest after the wow!” And he felt proud to share at just the right time.
