Sarah patted Prego’s helmet. “Ready, Prego?” she asked with a smile. Jon counted down, and The Red Rover rocket blasted off—BOOM! Prego’s little tail wagged fast in his spacesuit. “Look at him go!” Jon laughed. Together, they soared through the stars.

Inside the ship, Prego floated, spinning slowly. He gently chased his tail, making Sarah giggle. Jon tossed a dog treat, and Prego snapped it from the air. “Good catch, space pup!” cheered Jon. Prego barked and did a flip. The Red Rover zipped toward Mars.

Suddenly, a BEEP echoed. A space rock bumped their ship, making it shudder. “Quick, we need help!” said Sarah. Jon pointed to a robot, “Prego, push the red button!” Prego nudged it with his nose; the ship whirred back to life. “Prego saved us!” Sarah cheered.

They landed on Mars’ red ground. Prego hopped around, leaving tiny paw prints in the dust. Jon planted a flag with a paw print. “First pug on Mars!” Sarah giggled. Prego nestled in Sarah’s lap as they flew home, snoring softly. He dreamed of chasing stars.
