Sheily loved to draw. Every day after school, she sketched flowers, birds, and smiling faces. Her best friend Bell watched her draw. "You're so good!" Bell said. "I want to be a real artist someday," Sheily said with a smile. Her parents worried. "Being an artist is very hard," her mother said gently. Sheily felt sad, but she didn't give up. That night, she drew a picture of a mountain and whispered, "Small steps, Sheily. Small steps."

The next morning, Bell ran to Sheily with bright eyes. "I have an idea!" she said excitedly. "Let's make art together and show it at school!" Sheily's face lit up. "Really? You think people will like it?" she asked. "Of course! We can start small," Bell said, squeezing her hand. They spent all afternoon making colorful drawings and paper flowers. "This is our first step," Sheily said happily. Bell nodded. "And there will be many more!"

On Friday, Sheily and Bell set up their art in the school hallway. Students stopped to look. "These are beautiful!" said their teacher, Ms. Rivera. Some kids wanted drawings too. Sheily's heart raced with joy. "Can you make one for me?" asked a little boy. Sheily nodded eagerly. By the end of the day, five students asked for drawings. "We did it!" Bell cheered. Sheily hugged her friend. "It's just the beginning," she whispered, feeling proud.

Weeks passed. Sheily drew every day, getting better and better. Her parents saw her dedication and smiled. "We're proud of you," her father said warmly. Bell helped her create a special art folder. Soon, the school asked Sheily to paint a mural! "My dream is coming true," Sheily told Bell, tears in her eyes. "You worked so hard," Bell said. Sheily looked at the wall, ready to paint. "Like water shaping the softest stone," she said. "Small steps made something beautiful."
