Little Sophia woke one day, her name felt very light. She looked into the mirror—oh my, what a sight! The letters of her name had flown up in the air. S-O-P-H-I-A scattered everywhere! "My letters!" Sophia cried with worry and dismay. "I need to find them all before the end of day!" She put on her red shoes and tied them very tight. "I'll search the whole wide world to make my name just right!"

Sophia searched the garden where the flowers grow. She heard a hissing sound from down below. "Sssssomebody help me!" called a voice so small. The letter S was stuck inside a waterfall! "Hold on, dear S!" said Sophia with a smile. She reached into the water, stretched out for a while. She pulled the letter S out, dripping but okay. "Thank you!" S said happily. "I'll stay with you today!"

Next Sophia saw something rolling like a ball. The letter O was rolling down the tall stone wall! "Catch me! Catch me!" O called out with glee. "I'm rolling much too fast, as you can see!" Sophia ran as quickly as her legs would go. She opened up her arms and caught the letter O. "That was quite exciting!" laughed the round O letter. "Now I'm back with you, and feeling so much better!"

Walking through the park, Sophia heard a splish. The letter P was swimming like a little fish! "I'm practicing my puddle jumps," said P with pride. "But now I'm wet and cold, come take me for a ride!" Sophia laughed and scooped up P so carefully. "You're such a silly letter, come along with me!" She dried off P with her sweater soft and warm. Together they continued through the sunny morn.

In the forest tall, Sophia looked around. She had to find more letters that still weren't found. "Help! I'm hiding here!" said H up in a tree. "I climbed up very high, now I can't get free!" "Don't worry, H," said Sophia, "hold on tight!" She climbed the tree with courage and with all her might. She helped H climb down slowly, branch by branch so slow. "You're very brave," said H. "Now let's continue, let's go!"

Near the playground swings, Sophia heard a cry. The letter I stood lonely underneath the sky. "Everyone forgets me, I'm so small and thin. Nobody ever sees me, I can't seem to win!" "Oh, I see you clearly!" Sophia gave a cheer. "You're important, letter I, I'm so glad you're here!" The letter I felt happy, standing tall with pride. "Thank you, Sophia! I'll stay right by your side!"

Only one more letter left for her to find. The letter A was hiding, playing tricks unkind! Sophia looked in houses, underneath each chair. She checked behind the bushes, she looked everywhere! "A, where are you hiding? Please come out and play!" But A stayed very quiet, tucked away all day. Then Sophia had an idea, she began to sing. A loved music dearly, more than anything!

Sophia sang a pretty song with gentle voice. The letter A came dancing—it had no other choice! "Your singing is so lovely, I just had to appear! Music makes me happy, fills my heart with cheer!" "I'm glad you like my singing," Sophia said with glee. "Now all my letters found me, all six are here with me!" The letters danced around her, S-O-P-H-I-A. "Let's put them back together!" they all did say.

The letters lined up neatly, standing in a row. S first, then O and P—they knew just where to go! Then H and I stood proudly, and A jumped to the end. "We're back together now, let's never part again, dear friend!" Sophia felt so happy seeing her name complete. She jumped and clapped her hands and stomped her little feet! "My name is back together, every single letter found! I learned that all are special, each one safe and sound!"

"Let's have a celebration!" Sophia shouted loud. The letters all agreed and felt so very proud. They danced and played together underneath the sun so bright. They laughed and sang sweet songs from morning until night. "Each letter has a story, each one has a tale. Together we are stronger, together we won't fail!" Sophia hugged her letters, every single one. "Thank you for the adventure, thank you for the fun!"

Before the day was ending, as the sun went down, Sophia made a promise while sitting on the ground. "I'll take good care of you, my letters, every day. I'll keep you safe and close, you'll never fly away!" The letters all agreed and made a promise too. "We'll stick together always, we'll stay right here with you!" They formed her name so clearly, glowing warm and bright. Sophia smiled so big beneath the starry night.

Now Sophia knows her name is special, strong, and true. Each letter has a purpose, each one has a job to do. She wears her name with pride wherever she may go. Her name is part of who she is, this now she truly knows. And if you ever lose something that matters quite a lot, Remember Sophia's story, don't give up—keep your thought! With courage, hope, and kindness, you'll find what you have lost. Your name and who you are inside are worth any cost!
