Oreo spotted a beautiful butterfly near the garden gate. "Look!" she mewed, her round eyes wide. Komi, Yoshi, and Hiro chased after her giggling. The butterfly fluttered into the trees. Suddenly, the path home vanished behind them. "Where did the garden go?" whispered Yoshi.

"This place is spooky," shivered Komi, her fur puffed up. Oreo tried to look brave for the others. Hiro tripped on a stick and tumbled softly. Yoshi comforted him, patting his paw. "We need to find Mommy and Daddy!" Oreo declared. The kittens huddled close, listening for help.

Mommy Cat saw the empty garden and called, "Oreo! Komi! Yoshi! Hiro!" Daddy Cat rushed over, his fur bristling with worry. "We must find our little kittens," he said gently. Mommy Cat followed tiny paw prints into the forest. "Stay close, little paws," she meowed softly. Together, the big cats entered the shadows.

Thunder rumbled, and the kittens scattered. "Under here!" cried Yoshi, diving into a hollow log. Hiro squeezed in, Komi followed with Oreo right behind. Rain began to fall softly outside their hiding spot. The kittens snuggled up, feeling a little safer. "I miss Mommy," whispered Komi.

Daddy Cat called, "Oreo, where are you?" His deep voice echoed through the trees. Mommy Cat listened carefully, hoping for kitten mews. Suddenly, she heard a faint "Meow!" in the distance. "I hear them!" Mommy Cat exclaimed, dashing forward. Daddy Cat chased after her.

Mommy Cat poked her nose into the hollow log. "My sweet kittens!" she purred with relief. The kittens chirped with joy and rushed to her side. Daddy Cat wrapped everyone in his big fluffy tail. "Let’s go home together now," he said kindly. The family brushed noses, happy and safe.

Oreo led the way, tail high, while Mommy Cat followed closely. Daddy Cat carried sleepy Hiro gently in his teeth. Komi and Yoshi walked between their parents for safety. The rain stopped, and the forest grew brighter. They spotted their cozy garden gate ahead. "Safe at last!" cheered Komi.

"Let’s always stay close," said Yoshi, nuzzling Oreo. Mommy Cat licked each kitten gently. "Adventure is fun, but family is safest together," she said. Daddy Cat nodded, laying down among his kittens. The butterfly fluttered by once more, but this time they watched from the garden. Everyone purred in the warm sunlight.
