Morning light filters through rainforest leaves onto a mossy branch. Berri holds blueberries and beams toward Cherri, who waves happily from a neighboring trunk.
Morning sun warmed the rainforest leaves. Berri nibbled blueberries and sighed, 'I wish I had a friend.' She glided between trees searching. 'Hello?' she called. A grey glider waved, 'I'm Cherri!'
Under dappled noon sun in the rainforest canopy, twisting vines form a natural bridge. Berri passes a plump blueberry to smiling Cherri as she offers a bright red cherry back.
'Hi, I'm Berri!' she chirped. 'I love cherries,' Cherri giggled, 'and you?' 'Blueberries forever!' Berri laughed. They traded snacks, chomp-chomp. Together they leaped from vines, whooshing, 'Three, two, one—glide!'
In the dim rainforest floor, a moss-covered log arches beside a puddle. Benny stands atop the log pointing ahead, Cindy the centipede tumbles off giggling, while Linz smiles nearby munching a crunchy snack.
They explored mossy logs, peeking at shiny bugs. 'Follow the safe path,' Benny the beetle said seriously, leading them. Cindy the centipede peeked, slipped, then giggled, 'Found me!' 'Snack time!' cheered Linz the gecko.
Twilight softens the rainforest pool, its surface gleaming violet under hanging leaves. Berri and Cherri sit on a smooth stone sharing blueberries and cherries, leaning together with sleepy smiles beside rippling water.
They splashed in a clear pool, laughing, 'Cannonball!' Cherri shared cherries; Berri shared blueberries. 'Best friends?' asked Cherri. 'Best friends,' Berri smiled. Tired and happy, they cuddled under leaves, whispering dreams of tomorrow's adventure.
