Captain Banana stood on the deck of his ship, The Yellow Pearl. His pirate hat sat crooked on his yellow head. He looked through his telescope at the sparkling blue sea. "Ahoy! Today we find treasure!" he shouted. The wind filled the sails. The ship rocked gently on the waves. Captain Banana smiled his biggest smile. Adventure was calling his name. He loved being a pirate more than anything in the whole wide world.

Captain Banana found an old map in a bottle. It showed an island shaped like a star. "X marks the spot!" he said excitedly. He spread the map on a wooden barrel. The map showed three palm trees and a big red X. Captain Banana traced his finger along the dotted line. "This way to treasure!" he cheered. He turned the ship's wheel hard to the left. The Yellow Pearl changed direction. They were heading toward the mysterious island.

Dark clouds rolled across the sky. Rain started falling on Captain Banana's hat. "A storm is coming!" he called out. Lightning flashed bright and loud. The waves grew bigger and bigger. Captain Banana held the wheel tight with both hands. The ship tilted left, then right. Water splashed over the deck. But Captain Banana was brave. He steered through the storm until the sun came out again. "We made it!" he shouted happily.

Captain Banana spotted land ahead. The island had white sandy beaches and tall palm trees. He dropped the anchor with a splash. The island looked just like the map! Captain Banana jumped onto the beach. His boots sank into the soft sand. Colorful parrots flew overhead. Strange flowers bloomed everywhere. "This place is amazing!" Captain Banana said. He pulled out his map to check the directions. The adventure was just beginning.

Captain Banana walked past one palm tree, then two. "The map says three trees!" he remembered. There it was—the third palm tree! It had coconuts hanging from its branches. Captain Banana counted ten steps north. Then he counted five steps east. He marked the spot with a stick. "The treasure must be here!" he said. He began digging with his small shovel. The sand flew left and right. What would he find?

Captain Banana's shovel hit something hard. "Clunk!" He dug faster and faster. A wooden chest appeared in the sand! It had metal corners and a big lock. Captain Banana tried to open it but couldn't. "I need a key," he said sadly. He looked at the map again carefully. There was a tiny drawing of a cave! Maybe the key was hidden there. Captain Banana ran toward the rocky hills. The cave was waiting.

The cave was dark and cool inside. Captain Banana walked slowly and carefully. Water dripped from the ceiling. His footsteps echoed around him. He saw sparkly crystals on the walls. They glowed like tiny stars! In the corner sat a small wooden box. Captain Banana opened it gently. Inside was a shiny golden key! "Perfect!" he cheered. He raced back to the beach as fast as his legs could carry him.

Captain Banana put the key in the lock. Click! The chest opened wide. Inside were gold coins that sparkled in the sunlight! There were also colorful jewels—red, blue, and green. Captain Banana's eyes grew big with wonder. He picked up a shiny coin. It felt smooth and heavy. "Real pirate treasure!" he laughed. He scooped up handfuls of coins. They jingled and jangled. This was the best day ever for Captain Banana!

At the bottom of the chest, Captain Banana found a rolled-up paper. He unrolled it carefully and read aloud. "More treasure waits on Parrot Island!" it said. Captain Banana jumped with excitement. "Another adventure!" he shouted. He put some treasure in his bag. The rest he buried again for safekeeping. He marked the spot on his map. Now he had to find Parrot Island. Captain Banana ran back to his ship ready for more fun.

Captain Banana pulled up the anchor. The Yellow Pearl's sails filled with wind. "Next stop, Parrot Island!" he called out. The ship glided smoothly across the blue water. Dolphins jumped alongside the boat. They looked like they were dancing! Captain Banana waved at them happily. The sun felt warm on his face. He sang a pirate song very loudly. Being a pirate was the most exciting job. He couldn't wait to see what came next.

"Land ho!" Captain Banana shouted. Parrot Island appeared in the distance. It was covered with green trees full of colorful birds. Parrots squawked and flew in circles. The island looked magical and mysterious. Captain Banana steered his ship closer to shore. He could hear the parrots calling. "Hello! Hello!" they seemed to say. Captain Banana laughed at the funny birds. He anchored The Yellow Pearl in the shallow water. Time for a new treasure hunt!

Captain Banana stood on the beach of Parrot Island. He looked at his ship and smiled proudly. He had sailed through storms and found amazing treasure. He had explored mysterious caves and islands. Being Captain Banana was wonderful! He patted his treasure bag happily. Tomorrow he would search this new island. But right now, he watched the sunset paint the sky orange and pink. "What a perfect pirate life," Captain Banana said. More adventures were waiting just beyond the horizon.
