Inside the sunlit Chamomile Cafe, Luna bounces through the doorway, her coral bows mid-sway, while Miss Ellie smiles behind a wooden counter pouring steaming chamomile tea into three ceramic cups.
Luna bounced into the Chamomile Cafe, her coral bows wiggling with excitement. "Miss Ellie! It's Bloom Day!" she squeaked. Rowan and Harper hopped in behind her, their noses twitching. Miss Ellie smiled warmly from behind the counter. "Good morning, Rest Companions! Yes, today is our first Bloom Day. No school, no work, just rest." Harper's ears perked up. "What do we do?" she asked. Miss Ellie poured three cups of chamomile tea. "Whatever helps you feel peaceful and happy," she said softly.
In the cozy cafe interior, Luna twirls in her coral dress, Rowan tightens his olive-green overall straps, and Harper touches her coral headband; morning light streaks across wooden floorboards and their worried faces.
Luna twirled in her coral dress. "I want to pick flowers in the meadow!" Rowan adjusted his olive green overalls. "I'd rather stay here and have tea with Miss Ellie." Harper touched her coral headband. "I want to go home and fix my little music box." The three friends looked at each other with worried faces. "But we always do things together," Luna said sadly. Miss Ellie chuckled softly. "Rest Companions, you can rest in different ways. That's perfectly wonderful."
Afternoon sunlight streams through a small workshop window as Harper, in mustard overalls and coral headband, leans over a cluttered workbench, fitting tiny gears into an open music box that begins to play.
Harper tinkered with tiny gears and springs at her workbench. Click, click, tick! Her music box began to play. She smiled. Luna hopped through the mossy meadow, gathering daisies and clover. The cattails swished and swept in the breeze. Rowan sipped tea with Miss Ellie, watching clouds through the cafe window. "This is so peaceful," he sighed happily. Each bunny felt calm and content, resting in their own special way. The sun shone warm over Bloom Hollow.
Outside the Chamomile Cafe at sunset, Luna cradles a bouquet of meadow flowers while hugging Rowan, as Harper stands beside them holding a softly playing music box; golden light paints their happy faces.
As the sun began to set, the three friends met back at the Chamomile Cafe. Luna's paws were full of flowers. Harper's music box played a sweet tune. Rowan looked refreshed and peaceful. "I missed you!" Luna said, hugging her friends. "But I feel so much better now." Harper nodded. "Me too! Tinkering helped me rest." Rowan smiled. "We rested differently, but we all bloomed." Miss Ellie winked. "That's what Bloom Day is all about. Happy Bloom Day, Rest Companions!"
