When bedtime comes and lights go dim, the art supplies start their nightly hymn. Blue crayon stretches, stands up tall, 'It's time to paint dreams for one and all!' Sketch bounces high with joyful glee, 'I'll fix mistakes so carefully!' Sparkle twirls her nozzle hat, 'I'll add some shine, just picture that!' Together on the desk they wait, for dreaming time—it's getting late. The moon shines through the window bright, as magic fills the quiet night. 'Let's go!' calls Blue with arms spread wide, 'The dream world needs us as their guide!' They hold their hands and hearts so true, ready for the work they do.

They climb inside the dream machine, the most amazing sight you've seen! With gears that turn and wheels that spin, it takes them where the dreams begin. Blue grabs the painting brush so wide, with Sketch and Sparkle by his side. 'First dream tonight,' Blue reads aloud, 'A rainbow for a sleeping child!' He paints the arc across the sky, while Sparkle makes the colors fly. Sketch erases clouds of gray, turning night to bright new day. The dreaming child begins to smile, the friends have made it all worthwhile. 'Another dream done, painted right!' cheers Blue beneath the starry night.

The dream machine begins to glow, a special light begins to show. 'Oh my!' gasps Sparkle, eyes so round, 'This is the biggest dream we've found!' Blue reads the order with delight, 'An ocean scene with fish so bright! With dolphins jumping, waves so blue, and underwater castles too!' Sketch does a flip and bounces twice, 'This dream will be so super nice!' Blue grins and strikes a hero pose, 'I'll paint the best ocean that anyone knows!' He lines up all his tips just right, preparing for this special night. The friends feel ready, strong, and brave, to paint the most amazing wave.

Blue reaches for the canvas white, to paint the ocean sparkling bright. But as he presses down to draw, they hear a terrible CRACK and SNAP! Blue's tip has broken clean away! 'Oh no! Oh no!' the friends all say. Blue looks down at his broken point, his arms and legs grow weak and joint. 'I cannot paint! What will we do? The biggest dream depends on blue!' Tears well up in his crayon eyes, as Sketch and Sparkle sympathize. The dream machine starts beeping loud, the child is sleeping, dreaming now! 'We need this dream!' cries Sparkle bright, 'We cannot let down kids tonight!'

Blue sits down upon the floor, 'I cannot help you anymore. My point is broken, sharp no more, I'm just a stub, that's all, I'm sure.' Sketch bounces over, soft and kind, 'Don't give up! We'll use your mind!' But Blue just shakes his little head, 'Without my point, I'm useless,' he said. Sparkle rushes over fast, 'Please don't worry! This will pass! We'll find a way to help you through, the dream world really, really needs you!' The dream machine keeps beeping still, the child is waiting for the thrill. Time is running, ticking by, Blue just sits and starts to cry.

Sketch bounces up with eyes so bright, 'I have an idea! Hold on tight! Blue, you may have lost your tip, but you can paint in a different grip!' She demonstrates with bouncy motion, 'Use your side to paint the ocean!' Blue looks up with hopeful eyes, 'You really think that I could try?' 'Of course!' squeaks Sketch with happy cheer, 'Your color's still inside you here! Just turn yourself upon your side, and let your blue color glide!' Sparkle claps with pure delight, 'That's brilliant, Sketch! Yes, that's right!' Blue stands up on his stubby feet, determined not to face defeat.

Blue lies down upon his side, ready for this brand new ride. He presses gently on the page, his blue spreads out across the stage! 'It's working!' Sparkle shouts with glee, 'You're painting perfectly!' The strokes are wider, softer too, creating waves of brilliant blue. 'This way makes the water flow, with ripples moving to and fro!' Sketch bounces, cheering Blue along, 'You're doing great! So brave and strong!' Blue paints the waves with swooping motion, creating a magnificent ocean. His confidence begins to grow, his blue color starts to flow. 'I'm different now, but I can still, paint dreams with all my heart and skill!'

'Now for the fish!' calls Sparkle bright, 'I'll add some sparkle, gold and light!' She squeezes out her glitter glue, on top of Blue's ocean blue. Sketch erases extra lines, making everything look fine. Together they create and paint, each one working without complaint. Blue makes waves both big and small, Sparkle makes the glitter fall. Sketch cleans up the messy parts, as three friends work with busy hearts. 'We're better when we work as one!' laughs Blue, 'This dream is so much fun!' The ocean grows with every stroke, dolphins jump, the corals poke.

'The castle next!' announces Blue, 'Let's make it grand for our dream's view!' He paints with broad and sweeping motion, towers rising from the ocean. Sparkle adds her golden shine, making every turret line. Sketch erases clouds of foam, making sure each wall's just shown. The castle sparkles, glows, and gleams, perfect for the biggest dreams! Fish swim around the towers tall, seaweed dances near the wall. 'It's beautiful!' the friends all cheer, 'The best dream castle we've made this year!' Blue looks at his broken form, realizing he's been transformed. 'I paint different, but I'm still me, creating dreams so happily!'

'Just one more thing!' says Blue with pride, 'Some dolphins jumping far and wide!' He sweeps his side across the dream, creating dolphins that truly gleam. Sparkle adds her glitter trail, behind each fin and happy tail. Sketch makes sure each dolphin's clear, jumping high without a fear. The ocean dream is now complete, a masterpiece so grand and sweet! The dream machine begins to slow, sending out a gentle glow. The dream floats up into the air, delivered to the child with care. 'We did it!' Blue shouts with delight, 'We saved the biggest dream tonight!' Together they high-five and cheer, their teamwork made the dream appear.

As they climb out from the machine, Blue reflects on what he's seen. 'I thought that I was done,' he says, 'When I lost my point that day. But Sketch, you helped me understand, there's always another way at hand!' Sketch bounces with a happy smile, 'You just needed help a while! You learned to paint in a brand new way, and saved the biggest dream today!' Sparkle spins around with glee, 'We all work differently! What matters most is not our shape, but the love and joy we make!' Blue hugs his friends with stubby arms, grateful for their care and charms.

The sun begins to rise up high, painting colors in the sky. The art supplies head back to rest, knowing they have done their best. Blue lies down upon the desk, feeling proud but needing rest. 'Same time tomorrow night?' asks Sketch, with bouncing energy to fetch. 'Of course!' laughs Blue, 'I'll be right here, painting dreams without a fear! I learned that being different's fine, creativity comes in every kind!' Sparkle settles in her spot, 'Tonight was special, thanks a lot!' As morning light fills up the room, the art supplies end their zoom. And Blue, though broken at his tip, still smiles from his nighttime trip.
