Adrienne’s phone buzzed. "I’m sleepy," she thought. Liam called, "Come out—it’ll be fun!" She peeked at the dusky sky. "Fun?" she wondered. "Okay, yes," she said, grabbing her scarf.

Liam waved at the corner. "Race you to the park!" he said. Raindrops tickled. "Look—colors!" Adrienne gasped. A rainbow arched over rooftops. "Up the hill for better view!" Liam cheered.

Wind brushed clouds aside. "Whoa—another rainbow!" Liam shouted. A second arc shimmered above the first. Adrienne twirled, arms wide. "Saying yes brought us here," she laughed. They whispered wishes into colors.

City lights flickered below. "Fun can be gentle," Adrienne said. "And surprising," Liam grinned. They high-fived, skipping downhill. "When the sky calls, we’ll answer," she winked. The double rainbow faded; their smiles stayed.
