In the bright morning living room, Papa waves a green-yellow-red Senegal flag beside the couch, smiling as Musti proudly pulls on his green jersey while Yacine tugs hers straight. Sunlight through the window illuminates family photos and scattered match tickets.
"Today is the big match!" said Papa, waving his Senegal flag. Musti put on his green Senegal jersey with pride. "I want to wear mine too!" said Yacine, tugging at her jersey. Mama smiled and adjusted Yacine's jersey. "You both look like real football stars," she said. Even Koshkamurka wore a tiny Senegal bandana around her neck. "Let's go to Dakar Stadium!" cheered Papa. The family walked together, excitement filling the air.
Outside Dakar Stadium’s main gate under midday sun, Musti holds up his wrist as the band glows brilliant gold, eyes wide. Beside him, Yacine points excitedly toward the shining message while tall concrete arches and security turnstiles frame the scene.
At the stadium entrance, Musti's wristband suddenly glowed bright gold. "Wow! Look at that!" gasped Yacine. The wristband showed a special message: "Help needed on the field." Musti's eyes widened. "Papa, something magical is happening," he said. Papa looked confused but smiled. "Maybe it's good luck for the match," said Mama. Koshkamurka meowed loudly, as if she understood. "We need to get inside quickly!" said Musti. The family hurried through the gates. On the stadium concourse beneath bright floodlights, Stadium Official in yellow vest speaks urgently through a megaphone beside a scoreboard reading ‘Players Delayed’. In front, Musti’s glowing wristband casts golden light on his determined face while Yacine jumps, fists raised.
Inside the stadium, everyone was worried. "The star players haven't arrived!" announced a voice on the loudspeaker. "The bus broke down on the way," explained a stadium official. Musti's wristband glowed even brighter. "I think we're supposed to help!" said Musti. Yacine jumped up and down. "Can we play football?" she asked excitedly. Papa laughed nervously. "You're just children," he said. But Mama saw the determination in their eyes. "Maybe they can try," she said softly.
At the sun-lit sideline, Coach in team tracksuit crouches eye-level with Musti and Yacine near the white chalk line. He extends a football toward them while the vast green pitch and roaring crowd stretch out behind.
The coach approached the family. "We need players urgently. Can anyone help?" he asked desperately. Musti raised his hand high. "My sister and I can play!" he declared. Yacine nodded enthusiastically. The coach looked doubtful but smiled. "Alright, young champions, let's give it a try," he said. Musti and Yacine ran onto the bright green field. The crowd cheered loudly. Koshkamurka followed behind, her bandana fluttering. "This is amazing!" shouted Yacine.
Mid-field under bright afternoon light, Coach kneels drawing arrows in chalk on a small tactics board balanced on grass. Musti stands attentive, clutching the ball, while Yacine playfully practices a gentle kick beside his shoulder.
The coach knelt down to their level. "Musti, you'll play forward. Yacine, you'll help in midfield," he explained. "Pass to each other and watch for the goal," he continued. Musti nodded seriously. "I understand, Coach," he said. Yacine practiced kicking her little feet. "I'm ready too!" she giggled. The other team members patted their shoulders. "We'll help you both," said a kind player. Koshkamurka sat by the goal, watching carefully.
Center field under blazing floodlights, Referee raises whistle to his lips and blows, frozen mid-gesture. A few steps away, Musti bursts forward with the ball at his feet, determination sharp on his face, stadium seats a colorful blur.
The referee blew the whistle loudly. The match started! Musti ran fast across the field. A teammate passed him the ball. "I've got it!" Musti shouted. He dribbled past one defender skillfully. Yacine ran to an open space. "Musti, over here!" she called out. The crowd roared with excitement. Mama and Papa cheered from the stands. "Go, children!" Papa yelled proudly.
Near midfield stripe, Yacine completes a swift spin, one foot on the ball and a triumphant grin lit by overhead lights. A supportive Teammate claps nearby, grass flecks flying, while opposing players blur in the distant background.
Musti passed the ball to Yacine. She stopped it with her tiny foot. An opponent rushed toward her. Yacine spun around quickly, surprising everyone. "Wow!" gasped the crowd. She kicked the ball forward perfectly. It rolled to another teammate. "Great job, little one!" the teammate shouted. Yacine beamed with pride. "I did it!" she squealed. Even the coach clapped from the sideline.
Inside the penalty area, Koshkamurka the cat nudges the motionless ball with her paw under afternoon sunlight, tail arched. Musti dashes toward her laughing, arms outstretched, while the goal net and surprised fans loom behind.
The ball rolled out of bounds near the goal. Nobody could reach it quickly. Suddenly, Koshkamurka darted forward! She pushed the ball with her paw. "Meow!" she called to Musti. Musti ran and got the ball. "Thanks, Koshkamurka!" he laughed. The referee looked confused but allowed play to continue. The crowd laughed and cheered. "Even the cat is playing!" someone shouted. Papa couldn't believe his eyes.
Beside the goalpost under harsh stadium lights, the opponents’ ball settles inside the net as scoreboard reads 0-1. Yacine kneels clutching her headband, eyes wide, while Musti stands behind her, jaw set and fists clenched in resolve.
The other team was very good. They passed the ball quickly and smoothly. Their striker shot powerfully at the goal. The ball went in! "Oh no!" cried Yacine. The score was now one to zero. The crowd groaned with disappointment. Musti felt worried but determined. "We can still win," he told Yacine. She nodded bravely. "Let's try harder!" she said. Mama and Papa kept cheering loudly.
On the grassy pitch during brief timeout, Musti stands in the center of a tight player huddle, hand lifted encouragingly toward a waiting Teammate. Evening lights gleam off sweating faces and the nearby substitution board.
The team gathered in a circle. "We need to work together," said Musti. Everyone agreed with the young boy. They passed the ball carefully and patiently. Musti received a perfect pass near the goal. He aimed carefully and kicked hard. The ball flew toward the net! It went in! "GOAL!" screamed the crowd. The score was tied! Yacine hugged Musti tightly. "We did it together!" she shouted.
Inside the penalty box under roaring floodlights, Musti strikes the ball mid-kick, golden wristband blazing as it arcs toward the top corner of the net. Behind him, Yacine watches breathlessly near the white line.
Only one minute remained in the match. Musti's wristband glowed the brightest yet. "This is our chance!" he realized. Yacine got the ball and passed it to Musti. Musti ran as fast as he could. Two defenders tried to stop him. He dodged left, then right skillfully. With all his strength, he kicked! The ball curved beautifully into the goal. "GOLDEN GOAL!" everyone screamed. They won the match!
At dusk on the field, Coach hoists Musti and Yacine onto his shoulders beneath confetti-filled sky, both children grinning with brand-new medals around their necks. Stadium lights glow across jubilant fans and discarded footballs.
The crowd rushed onto the field celebrating. Mama and Papa hugged Musti and Yacine. "You were both amazing!" Papa said proudly. The coach lifted them on his shoulders. "Our youngest heroes!" he announced. Koshkamurka purred happily in Mama's arms. The team gave them shiny medals. "You saved the match," they said. Musti's wristband stopped glowing peacefully. "Best day ever!" said Yacine, yawning sleepily. The family walked home together, champions forever.
