Emma noticed something strange at school. Her homework was missing from her backpack! "This is odd," she said. Sam the Shih Tzu wagged his tail. "Woof! I'll help you find it!" Emma petted Sam. "Thanks, buddy! Let's look for clues." They searched the classroom carefully. Emma found tiny footprints on her desk. "Look Sam, these prints are really small!" Sam sniffed the desk and barked. "I smell something!" Emma smiled. "We're going to solve this mystery together!"

Emma and Sam followed the tiny footprints outside. They led to a big oak tree. Ant was climbing up the trunk. "Hello, Ant!" called Emma. "Have you seen my homework?" Ant stopped climbing. "I saw papers blowing in the wind earlier!" Emma looked up. "Which way did they go?" Ant pointed with his antenna. "Toward the bus stop!" Sam barked excitedly. "Let's go, Emma!" They ran toward the bus stop together. The mystery was getting interesting. Emma felt like a real detective now.

At the bus stop, Bus was parked with passengers inside. "Excuse me, Bus," said Emma. "Did you see my homework?" Bus honked twice. "Yes! Papers flew onto my roof!" Emma's eyes widened. Cat the Persian was sitting nearby, cleaning her paws. "I saw them too," purred Cat. "The wind carried them to the apple tree." Apple hung from a branch, smiling. "Your papers landed right here!" Emma laughed with relief. Sam jumped happily. They were so close to solving the mystery!

Emma climbed the apple tree carefully. Her homework pages were caught in the branches! "Found them!" she cheered. Sam barked below. "Good job, detective Emma!" She climbed down with her papers. "The wind took my homework on an adventure!" Emma thanked all her friends. "You all helped solve the mystery!" Apple smiled. "Teamwork makes everything easier!" Cat purred in agreement. Emma put her homework safely in her backpack this time. "Case closed!" she declared proudly. Sam wagged his tail. It was the best mystery ever!
