One evening, Janavi, a curious little girl, looked up at the sky. She noticed something strange. The moon was missing! Janavi decided she had to find out where it went. She grabbed her trusty lantern and called her pet bunny, Fluffy.
Janavi and Fluffy stepped outside into the starry night. The stars twinkled brightly, guiding their path. Janavi felt excited and a little bit nervous. She wondered if the stars knew where the moon had gone. So, she asked them for help.
The stars giggled softly and sparkled even more. 'We saw the moon floating away,' one star said. 'It seemed sad and lonely.' Janavi felt determined to bring the moon back. The stars pointed her towards a fluffy, sleepy cloud.
Janavi and Fluffy reached the sleepy cloud. 'Hello, Cloud,' Janavi whispered. The cloud yawned and opened its eyes. 'Oh, hello there,' it said, 'I saw the moon drifting towards the horizon.' Janavi thanked the cloud and followed its direction.
Janavi and Fluffy walked towards the horizon. The night air was cool and refreshing. They could see a faint glow in the distance. 'That must be the moon,' Janavi said excitedly. They hurried towards the glow.
Finally, they found the moon resting near a hill. 'Why did you leave?' Janavi asked gently. The moon sighed, 'I felt nobody noticed me.' Janavi smiled and said, 'We all miss you. The night isn't the same without your glow.'
The moon felt happy hearing Janavi's words. 'Will you come back with us?' she asked. The moon nodded and floated back into the sky. Janavi and Fluffy watched as the moon's light filled the night. Everything felt right again.
Janavi and Fluffy returned home, feeling proud. The stars twinkled brighter, and the moon shone happily. Janavi knew she had made a difference. As she snuggled into bed, she whispered, 'Goodnight, moon.' The world glowed peacefully once more.
