Theo Tiger had a grand idea one day, "Let's travel the world!" he heard himself say. Gia Giraffe clapped her hooves with glee, Zoey Zebra said, "Count me in, all three!" London Lion roared, "I want to go too! Let's pack our bags, we have so much to do!" They gathered round with a big world map, Planning their journey, no time for a nap. "We'll ride on trains and sail the seas, fly in airplanes with the greatest ease!"

The four friends arrived at the station so grand, with tickets in paw, ready to travel the land. "All aboard!" called the conductor with cheer, the whistle blew loud for everyone to hear. They climbed on the train, found seats by the door, watching the countryside as they started to soar. Through tunnels and valleys, past rivers so wide, Theo said, "What a wonderful ride!" The train went clickety-clack on the track, the friends waved to farmers who all waved back.

In the city they hopped on a big yellow bus, Gia said, "This is perfect for all of us!" The driver smiled wide as they paid their fare, finding empty seats, sitting here and there. Past tall buildings and parks they would go, stopping for people both fast and slow. London looked out at the busy street scene, the brightest, most colorful place he'd ever seen. "Ding!" went the bell when they reached their stop, off stepped the friends with a hop, hop, hop!

Down at the harbor, a boat waited near, "Climb aboard, friends, there's nothing to fear!" The captain welcomed them all with a smile, "We'll sail across the water for many a mile." The boat rocked gently on waves blue and deep, Zoey watched dolphins leap and leap. The salty wind blew through Gia's long hair, seagulls were calling and flying through air. Theo steered the wheel, feeling so proud, while London sang sea songs, happy and loud.

At the airport next, they checked in their bags, looking at airplanes with colorful flags. Through security they went, one by one, the adventure was far from being done! They boarded the plane and buckled up tight, ready to soar through the clouds so white. Up, up, up into the sky they flew, seeing the world from a whole new view. "Look down below!" said Gia with awe, the tiniest things were all they saw. Flying was magical, special, and new, across the wide sky, so brilliantly blue.

Underground tunnels beneath city streets, the subway rushed by on its speedy beats. The friends held the poles, standing up tall, watching the doors open and close for all. Lights flashed by in the dark tunnel's space, the subway train moved at a zooming pace. "Next stop!" announced a voice from above, they reached their station, push came to shove. Up the stairs they climbed into daylight bright, the subway had taken them left and right. "That was so fast!" said London with glee, "Underground travel is the way to be!"

Up a steep hill, they spotted with care, a bright red cable car waiting there. They hopped on board and held on tight, as up the steep mountain they reached new height. The city below looked tiny and small, buildings like toys, people like dolls, all in all. "This is amazing!" Zoey did cheer, wind in her stripes without any fear. Ding, ding! went the bell as they climbed up so high, almost touching the clouds in the sky. At the top they could see for miles around, the most beautiful view they'd ever found.

"Taxi!" called Theo with his paw in the air, a yellow cab stopped right then and there. The driver said, "Hop in, where shall we go?" "To the museum, please!" said the friends in a row. Through busy streets, the taxi would weave, passing people who came and would leave. The meter clicked, counting the fare, as they zipped through the city with wind in their hair. Soon they arrived at their destination spot, they thanked the driver for the ride they'd got. "Taxi rides are quick and fun!" said Gia to everyone.

In a peaceful park with paths winding around, four colorful bikes is what the friends found. They pedaled and laughed, racing with joy, Theo in front, such a speedy boy! Gia's long neck made her easy to spot, Zoey rang her bell quite a lot. London rode slowly, enjoying the view, flowers and trees in every bright hue. They stopped for a rest beneath a big tree, sharing some snacks and feeling quite free. "Bike riding is healthy and makes us strong, we could ride these bikes all day long!"

A big ferry boat waited at the pier, "This will take us across the water, my dear!" said Theo to his traveling friends so true, as they climbed aboard the vessel brand new. Cars and people filled the ferry deck, they stood at the railing to look and to check. Across the wide channel, the ferry did glide, seabirds swooping along for the ride. The engine rumbled deep down below, making the ferry move steady and slow. "I love ferry boats!" London did shout, "Traveling together is what it's about!"

Sometimes the best way to travel around, is walking on foot on the solid ground. Through markets and gardens the four friends would stroll, seeing new sights was their traveling goal. They walked across bridges and through town squares, climbing up steps and walking down stairs. No tickets to buy, no schedules to keep, just walking together, sometimes uphill steep. Their paws got tired, but they didn't mind, around every corner, new wonders they'd find. "Walking is free and good exercise too, seeing the world up close, not from bird's view!"

After their travels by land, sea, and air, using all transport found everywhere, the tired friends came back home at last, remembering adventures from present and past. "We rode on trains and sailed on the sea, flew in the sky, happy and free!" They'd taken buses and subways too, cable cars, taxis, and bikes they all knew. "The best part," said Gia with a smile so wide, "was having my friends right by my side." They hugged together, these traveling tails, forever friends who'd share their tales.
