Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Benny. Benny was a very picky eater and didn’t like vegetables at all. His mom would try to make yummy vegetable dishes, but Benny always said no. One sunny afternoon, Benny was playing outside in his backyard. He stumbled upon a mysterious new place called the Rainbow Garden.

Benny the Picky Eater

Benny was curious and started to explore the Rainbow Garden. It was full of colorful and magical plants he's never seen before! As he walked deeper, Benny heard cheerful voices laughing and haveing fun. He was surprised to see a friendly tomato with a friendly face smiling at him. 'Hello! I'm Tommy the Tomato,' said the smiling vegetable.

The Magical Rainbow Garden

Tommy explained to Benny that tomatoes are full of vitamins that help him stay healthy. Benny took a small bite of Tommy and realized it tasted delicious! Next, Benny met Lucy the Lettuce, who told him how she was packed with vitamins and water to keep him strong. Benny tried some lettuce and found it crunchy and refreshing. Then he met Brody the Broccoli, who told Benny that broccoli helps brains grow smart.

Meeting the Vegetable Friends

Benny tried some broccoli but didn’t like it too much. 'It's okay not to like everything,' said Brody with a smile. Lastly, Benny met Callie the Carrot, who shared that carrots give loads of nutrients. Benny was excited to try a carrot and absolutely loved it! With a newfound joy for vegetables, Benny thanked all his new friends and left the Rainbow Garden with a happy heart.

Through Benny’s adventure as he learns more and more about each vegetable, Benny learns that trying new foods can be exciting!
