Hayden woke up to a bright morning. Today was special because his class was going on a nature walk. Hayden loved nature but sometimes it felt a bit too loud. He put on his favorite green hat and joined his friends, James and Ellie. They were ready for an adventure and Hayden felt excited.

As they entered the forest, Hayden noticed the different sounds around him. The chirping birds and rustling leaves seemed like a beautiful symphony. 'I like the way the forest hums to me,' Hayden told his friends. James smiled, 'That's your superpower, isn’t it?' Ellie clapped her hands and they all giggled.

Hayden loved finding patterns in everything he saw. The way the sun made patterns through the leaves looked magical. 'I see pictures in the patterns,' Hayden said. James marveled at how Hayden could see things others might miss. Ellie tried to spot them too, following Hayden’s gaze.

At the end of the day, Hayden’s teacher asked him to share what he liked most. Hayden shared how he sometimes likes quiet places. 'But when I’m with my friends, I like it more,' he added. James and Ellie beamed, giving Hayden a big, happy hug. Hayden realized being a kid like him was pretty great.
